I love Projectivity Launcher: I happily paid the asking price, even for the non-essential features, as it's not a requirement. I use it on both my sluggish Sony Bravia TV and, more importantly, my 2019 Nvidia Shield Pro. The randomized backgrounds are a nice perk, but what I truly appreciate is the snappy, minimalist interface without any ads, unlike Roku or Amazon. Everything is more efficient, faster, and simply more enjoyable! Just wanted to let you know that there are no ads, and paying for this app is entirely up to you.

Recently they changed the app icons to round, the rectangle from before was much better for the UI

Eh, it's subjective. I love the round icons. There's no need for them to be rectangular.

@ yes, in mid-2022 Google made an update to the Google TV OS which removed the option. It still exists on older devices
