BEST MID-CUT TAKEDOWN BOOTS EVER? - Nike Mercurial Superfly 6 Pro (Black) - Review + On Feet

$150 for a takedown model is borderline too much! But if the quality is as good as the new Nike Mercurial Superfly 6 Pro, I don't have much of an issue with it. Mid-cut (aka Sock boots) takedowns have never really been that great in my opinion, but these rival just about any top-end cleats in regards to quality, including the Superfly 6 Elite! The upper is made from a Teijin-like synthetic upper, features ACC and has a real Flyknit DF Collar! Is this the best value for money for mid-cut soccer cleats?

Adidas X 18.2 is actually very VERY good. It has a better upper than the 18.1 which is fucking ridiclous. And the Nemeziz 18.2 is amazing too.

I have a theory, nike wouldnt name it teijin synthetic because nike doesnt want the huge vapor fan starts buying the pros instead of the elites, because once its broken honestly i feel no difference between the pros and vapor 11the only difference is the soleplate isnt compressed nylon, although i cant feel the difference while on thee pitch

Nice and very informative videos. I'll skip this generation of mercurials for sure. I loved the superfly 4 and 5. And I also loved the kinda infamous hypervenom 2, but that's mainly because of the fly wire cables, that technology just blew my mind when I tried it and never went back. I got narrow feet, so in my case the wires do come in handy when I'm looking for responsive shoes that matches my play style on toes. I totally understand nike's philosophy behind the new generation to please the many which is great, but I really hoped that they would keep the superfly name true to its roots, cables, super responsive, tight, just like a sport car if you get what I mean. Lengthy comment but I'm just sharing my opinion nothing else. Thanks for reading.

This is one of the best budget boots you'll ever get. But I had some issues with it at first. The heel seems to make me feel uncomfortable after a few session, but I managed to solve it by getting Nike Grip Socks. So whenever i use those, i would wear a full foot gear of Nike products. This is a really good boots, totally recommend everyone who is tight on budget to get it.

I might be waaaayy off but idgaf. I theorize that the vapor "elite" is essentially a "flyknit ultra". Hence why hAzard wears them and isco and modric still wear the vapor 11. A true "vapor" in this new nike generation is the vapour 12 "pro". It has the shape and upper ( according to josh) of it's predecessor( vapor 11).

I was always wondering, because take down models are getting better each year, do you think the next generation take down models are a better option then the last generation top end models. Especially because of the price, the next generation take downs tend to be still cheaper or the same price then the last generation top ends on sale. So what do you think lets say on a comparison between a Mercurial Superfly 5 vs. the Superfly 6 pro. Or Mercurial vapor 11 vs. Vapor 12 pro.

It really depends on the specific takedown model. 95% of the time, a new takedown model is not as good as the previous generation top-end model. I don't think we've ever seen takedown models that are as good in regards to overall quality than the Mercurial Vapor 12 and Superfly Pro.

They are fitting a little loose, but I don't mind since I'm still growing. I've used an extra in sole, and they're perfectly fitting me. So the thing is, I just ordered a pair of Nemeziz 17.1 FG, at the same size 10 UK. Do you think they will be ok or should I go half a size down? I prefer the way these new Mercurials fit, it's more comfortable for me, and I like the fact that they don't have the Speed Rib texturing. I'd prefer the Vapor 12 Pro overall. The Vapor 11 is a great boot though. It is just as good in regards to overall quality and they are a fair bit lighter as well. It just depends on what you want.

They're both solid boots, it would just depend on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for. The Phinish will fit more similarly to the Phantom 3 than the Vapor 11.

ScoPeZ • yes get the ag pro soleplate instead you can you use them on fg in some cases and they have a few chevron studs for maximum traction ag but also has 75% conical studs to help pivot and move in the thicker surface

I've never had one rip. It will stretch a little over time, but the fit of the collar has no impact on the fit of the boots. It's just an extension piece.
