The only thing that I learned from Doom, is that if Doom slayer had infinite ammo for BFG and Gauss rifle, the war with demons could have been won on Mars without reaching Earth. Apparently the same applies to Mighty Doom

I did multiple weapon comparisons in the timed runs - which is where you really need to go glass cannon. Gauss was impressive but the Rocket Launcher always won (i.e. had the most time to spare at the end). BFG was the best even when underlevelled. The main gun always should be whichever is the highest level but Heavy Cannon yielded the shortest times for me. I use Gold + UAC.

the burst rifle is terrible even if it's higher level. It's perks/abilities are not good.

Just seeing this video months later. Just started using the chain gun with the Balista. Tactical Advantage with a Spin Fast or 2 ability makes the chain get to full damage super fast. Balista also had a plasma blade to sweep through the entire floor killing most or severely damaging the small guys. Getting Pierce and Bounce on the chain gun makes boss battle alot shorter.

Hey, sorry for the late comment. Love your guides by the way! I actually have the gold slayer, and I find it to be superb when it comes to that exact reason for firing the Gauss cannon multiple times. Plus it has higher base health, so in the long run when I was upgrading it ended up giving such a massive buff to survivability!

Plasma gun is super strong.. .. actually I think there's lots of nice setups... Shotgun is also very good

it is, but only it you treat it like a shotgun and walk right up into enemy's face so all the spread/side shots hit them. bounce helps reduce the need for it, but still SOO much faster kills if you go point blank. The problem though is that the big plasma balls clutter the screen.

I personally think you should use Exultian Helmet and Demonic Gauntlets, these two give a flat 20% (if epic) damage buff which can apply to your secondary weapon which the UAC set doesn't provide but that's what I think, maybe it's not the case.

We talked in discord about this, they did some big math, Exultian helm is pretty solid. Demonic gloves can be too. UAC with the 40% damage is just really good though the 20% demonic constant is great too

this is my build almost exactly except for the gloves. love the chaingun! try the attack speed gloves (cultist) for the chaingun, it helps it ramp up to speed so much faster and you reach max damage output much quicker, especially with spinfast.

Gold slayer with gauss uac gear is just NUTS uac gear obviously isnt needed but u just can spam that secondary so much its great i have every slayer now and still gold in my opinion just whoops every other slayer

I would recommend toxic grenade if have rare, super rare or epic then just use it it can also deal a lot of dps to enemy and the main part of it is decrease enemy defense and you can easily kill them with your primary weapon

Depends what you want, Classic is tankier and “safer” some, gold is damage with his special ability it seems. Classic real $, gold crystals (which can still be bought)

Very easy. He does 3 patterns. 1st dodge quickly back and forth. 2nd. Huge area attack, run. 3rd spawn mini tentacles, kill them quickly as they add up.

Stay close to the tentacle so that when it does its big sweep you can run behind the aoe. Stick to circling it counter clockwise since it'll start the sweep on the other side

Its not really a glass cannon build if youre not using the Crimson Slayer... also, if youre using the Chain gun you really should try it with Crimson. The very low raw dmg of the chain gun benefits more from any +dmg raw stat than any other weapon. This makes the Crimson slayer + Chain gun the strongest combo in my humble opinion.

Unfortunately the only high leveled slayer skin i have is classic, but working to expand Gold slayer with a double Gauss shot, thanks to his restoring secondary special sounds brutal! I heard crimson’s under 25% health damage buff isn’t much too

Just depends on what you like, that’s a really good up close one. This one is more distance. Can use gold slayer too to refresh the Gauss instantly, and add more to gauntlets and helm! The higher the level, at least for epic, the more points per coin it costs at each level. Just have to spend a lot to get up that high first I’ve been enjoying heavy cannon lately too

I honestly don’t get why you discuss how MUCH damage and health does the equipment have, as all of them have the same base damage/health stat. It’s not like you can choose, the only thing that changes are the secondary effects.

It’s not 1:1, like a chaingun damage output has more bullets, but likely less damage per bullet. Plus, rarity changes it - a rare BFG has a higher floor than a common, and bigger increases per level

@@Allstin I said equipment, gear can be either weapons or equipment, and all equipment of the same category and rarity has the same base values (for example, all common gloves and helmets have +20 dmg, and all common chesplates and boots have +200 hp). So there’s no point on discussing why X gloves are better because they have so much base damage, when all gloves share the same base damage.

@@danielcues there’s a big difference in gloves - they have secondary effects. Either like 20% more damage, or 40% bonus 5 sec after firing your secondary. Which scales up with each tier

You can use the 2 zombunny events to knock ‘em out quick, then get more in regular maps. Especially earth / Exultia maps. Dismantle it when finished, do you do that to get materials back?
