Sorry for the long wait, the video got easier to make over the course of the month, once the pain settled. my cast was removed a few days ago & I'm back to it, just a bit bruised up. also sorry for the bad audio, it was tough editing with one hand. 💪

Hey. About render distance. If you have nvidia graphic card there's mod called nvidium. It can greatly increase your render distance. My laptop doesn't give me good performance so I play on 3-5 chunks render distance. With nvidium I can put it to 32 chunks with no real problems. I have seen you have really good render distance but is it mods or is your computer just good?

Dear Jeracraft Im Bryce a 26 year old father who has a son with leukemia. I've been building a dungeons and dragons mmo map for about 6 months on a custom server for him so when he gets old enough he can play it with his friends and family. i don't expect a response from you or even your help i will continue this project on my own and its coming along nicely. I've always loved your videos of how you transformed other peoples worlds and i saw your server and you inspired me to create the map i have. Thanks for being an inspiration.

For the decorated pot, you can fix the very low render distance by using a mod for fabric (named Enhanced Block Entities) that visually converts any type of chosen block entity (such as pots or shulkers...) into normal blocks. The only drawback is that, as a result of the conversion, animations (like opening chest) will not work on these blocks.
@noahromaniuk20599 ай бұрын
Honestly, these are some of the best decoration type things I have ever seen, especially the skulk for carpet designs. Honestly love the work, effort and general mind boggling creativity with such a small amount of new blocks. :)

Your builds are incredible, I only discovered you from a algorithm recommendation for this video, but I was blown away by what I saw in the background.
@XraptorNZ3 ай бұрын
I think there likely is a command to remove all the entity tags off of decorative pots. They would no longer work like storage but in theory they would properly render into the world then.

I don’t know if I come up with this myself or I saw it somewhere, but every time I make any kind of kitchen I use the chiselled bookshelves as shelving for either bottles or just jars of stuff and ingredients works kind of well since you can choose where in the block you put the book and can have them filled up in different ways

You've always been my biggest inspiration. Your content always amazed and Inspiried me and I can't agree with you more when its about adding more blocks. Personally I'd love more colored Stair and Slab variants because I love building detail with them! Having so little color variations for those blocks kinda limits my imagination on building more fantasy themed stuff.

A solution to the bit with the vanishing due to them essentially being entities is to perhaps use them in more enclosed indoor spaces so that their disappearance peril they cause which can screw up builds could be avoided entirely though using these pot based builds indoors maybe be a little limiting for your building style, it's certainly a solution that could be used for adding details to rooms in houses or dungeons. Btw I know NOTHING about building, kinda just though of this on the spot so it may not be the BEST of ideas out there.

There is one build hack I found in the new update I haven't seen anyone else use so I am just gonna comment it in case someone wants to use it. --> it's an improvement of the old glas fog trick. By scaling block displays I to big planes you can have the effect without optifine and also have fog that is the player can walk through
