It's worked great for my needs around the house. I still have more work to do. Husqvarna makes quality products. I don't have anything big enough to use one of their chainsaws.

Definitely thumbs up on this saw.. Safety is a pita and may cause more issues than solve them.. especially for left handers. I echo another poster that suggests a decent pair of gloves even in the summer.. Also don't push the saw, let the saw do the work. If the saw stalls you're pushing too hard and/or the chain is dull..

It worked great for me. I'm usually all about safety first. I was just being lazy to go get my gloves. I won't be so lazy the next time around.

Some of the kickback is because your chain is too loose. If you tension it up just a tad more, it’ll run smoother. You can see it sagging.

This mini chainsaw is pretty easy to control. I should be wearing safety gloves. Have you been crabbing much this fall?

As I mentioned earlier at least for left handers, the safety switch is awkward tp operate imo.. That and the lack of an oiler are really the only two areas that could use refinement.
