If Mookie wins over Ronald the something isn’t right. Ronald has been playing MVP caliber all year, not just recently. Also he’s done things stats aren’t going to show. Go read Harold Reynolds’s write up. When Acuña is on first the next three get way more fastballs and their stat are way up. He makes pitchers rush their delivery and hang pitches or miss spots. Also, dude has stolen a ton of bases. Turns singles and walk into doubles and triples. Not to mention he’s the ONLY guy in the 30/60 category and is about to be a member of the elite 40/40, but in his case it’ll be 40/70. If Mookie gets it we will have reached peak clown world in baseball.

The thing with RF is that it took Betts having an unsustainable August to even get his name in the race whereas Acuna has been doing this every month all year. (counting September so far), Betts has 3 months with a BA under .270 and 2 months with an OPS in the .780's. Acuna's Lowest BA for a month this year was .298 and has been well above .300 every other month with his lowest OPS being .918. Mookie's August was the best month either player has had, but Acuna has out played Betts the rest of the year and the voters WILL remember their recent "head to head" matchup where Acuna (and the Braves) cooked Betts (and the Dodgers)

Nothing in the series? Acuña had 17 AB’s with 6 hits for a 353 average, along with 6 RBI’s. Mookie had 15 AB’s with 5 hits for a 333 average, and 5 RBI’s. While Acuña’s numbers were better, Mookie didn’t “do nothing” and actually preformed well. Let’s not make stuff up, and give credit we’re credit is due. Why would you willingly make your own team worse? Kim is a defensive wizard, putting him at 2nd is a tragedy. It also might say something about Xander, and the locker room if he's unwilling to move -- it's not like he needs to play SS for a future contract. I was yelling into the void during the preseason how unacceptable it was, and that I'd have been livid if I was a Padres fan, but the void didn't listen.

Spencer Strider with his 3.56 ERA is not the best Starter in Major League Baseball LMFAOOOOOOOOO. Blake Snell, Justin Steele, Gerrit Cole, and I would probably even put Luis Castillo and George Kirby above him as well just based on this season

@giraffeneckmarc clearly you don’t watch the Cubs Justin Steele 16-3 with a 2.55 era oh along with 152 strikeouts ,both pitch around the same amount of innings and Justin Steele played a game less.

@@RealSSC00 bro Justin Steele is constantly being disrespected because he doesn’t have a wide array of pitches as others. This man has two pitches and is up there in strikeouts and yet batters can’t hit him .that’s elite pitch when a batter knows only one of two pitches is coming yet he can’t hit it.

Chas has been incredible this year but id give it to Robert, as an Astros fan I love Chas and do think they are somewhat equal on the offensive side but what Roberts been doing on defense has just been incredible. (I do think that marc should have given Chas recognition though)

I disagree with a few selections. Matt Olson will be the home run leader this season. Acuña is on a historic pace. The catcher in my opinion has to be either Cal Raleigh or Adley Rutschman. As for starting pitcher, I have to put in one of Luis Castillo, Gerrit Cole, or Blake Snell. Strider's ERA is simply too high. That, and how is Luis Arraez not playing 2nd over Kim?

Can't agree on strider how you cannot touch him when he have 3.85 ERA. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU STRUCK PEOPLE OUT WHEN YOU GIVE HOMERS . The best starting pitcher is Blake Snell

I’m thinkin bellinger in center and acuña in RF. I mean it’s all subjective anyways though. I don’t watch mookie enough but I watch the braves and I know what kind of threat ronald poses so idk it’s a toss up

Try history bud, Acuna is the best right fielder and at the top for MVP, now more then before because of him putting up that 30 60 season and he’s about to break his own history with a 40 70 season there is no way Mookie is better.
