Just warning anyone thinking on using the Cerave PM moisturizing lotion, just be careful because there are many people who broke out after using it. I think its because of the various pore clogging ingredient such as the Cetearyl Alcohol and Ceteareath -20, in addition to the various alcohol and fats. While it may be good for many, it can really cause a break out for those whose skin arent suitable or is sensitive to it. It happened to me and broke my skin out real bad so just becareful :D

If your skin is sensitive to fragrance and essential oils, I reccomend also looking into the product that you're interested in buying just to prevent things like this from happening! I reccomend the Sunday Riley's water tidal cream, which is cruelty free, fragrance free, vegan, etc. (You can look on the website for more info) I would also recommend the KLAIRS fundamental water gel cream, which is a moisturizer with a gel type consistency. (You can find more info on this product on wishtrend.com)

One that she didn't mention that is bomb for combination/oily skin is the OG clinique moisturizing gel, its the yellow one with a pump. Not to be mistaken for its lotion version. This one is a gel cream that moisturizes but dries down with a light matte finish which is amazing. I go back and forth between this and the hada lobo gel cream or the pm cerave moisturizer (the last 2 are more moisturizing) depending on what my skin needs. I also use the pixi glycolic toner only in the day time since I use a retin A at night. I do an bentonite clay mask once a week either Saturday or Sunday a day when I won't use any chemical exfoliants (i.e. retin a or glycolic toner). Made all the difference in the greasy appearance of my skin. Hope this will help someone.

@@quyenduong6576 Yes, it's great for hyperpigmentation! Tretinoin is better but it's only available by prescription from a doctor, but you can get it from Curology or Apostrophe if you're in the US if you ask for it specifically, but Differin/Adapalene is a good OTC alternative.

After having my baby, my skin has become so so dry and gets red and irritated. The banana soufflé from Glow Recipe is IT for me. And I went through like a dozen of moisturizers at Sephora and they didn’t cut it! The Centella Asiatica in it soothes and calms the redness and it hydrates so well. And I’m super dry!!!!!!!!!!

My skin is super oily, and it HATED the Cerave PM moisturizer. It sat on top of my skin rather than sinking in and made my skin feel clammy and so oily. I was so sad because I'd heard good things about it. But then again, I was using a different serum at the time (Just Breathe by Versed), so maybe they didn't mix well. I'm now using the niacinamide serum from The Ordinary. It's done wonders taking the redness out of my skin (like seriously, I'm amazed how good the color of my skin is now), but it doesn't really control the oil. I've been using it only once a day, though, so that may be why. I'd like to try upping my usage to twice a day, but I have to finish up products first. I've been using the Ole Henricken oily skin trio at night, and they've got AHAs and BHAs, so I read not to combine that with niacinamide.

I had been trying to find a moisturizer that doesn’t make me too oily or even clog my pores and Krave Beauty doesn’t do that for me and I’ve been trying to find it for years! The oats in their moisturizer is good for flare ups, and so many more things and it is SIMPLE ingredients... would highly recommend it !

I've been using the DIFFERIN gel since January now and I have to say that I purged as hell for like a month or two.. I broke out like I never did before! My skin looked awful, it hurt, it peeled, it was itchy and flakey and dry.. And then suddenly it cleared up and now my skin is like almost free of impurities. IF a pimple does pop up, it is gone within one day with differin! Even my pores are smoothed out! I first used it every other day for the first month, then I went to daily use (as recommended) and I always use a moisturizer first, which helps with the irritations! I also put vaseline around my eyes, nose and mouth to keep the differin away from these areas. Trust me, you don't want it to get there! 😅 I think differin can help many people with acne, but I'd suggest you to get some information first, because it is pretty strong. Dr. Dray (dermatologist) has got videos on her KZbin channel where she explains everything in detail and gives tips for the prevention of irritations. They helped me a lot!

My considerable internet research has finally paid off and recognized with extremely good facts to exchange with my friends and the world. Medical Doctors and Dermatologists said (HSV 1&2, Herpes zosters) do not have a medical cure because the virus is capable of hiding within the human cells. it remains protected from your immune system. Herpes isn't an incurable virus! your immune system has the tools to fight it back. But because it is able to lay dormant in protected cells, your immune system is unable to remove it from your body. But with strong reactive herbal medication, it is capable of getting rid of the virus gradually and totally from your body without any side effects, natural herbs kill the virus totally not just reducing the outbreaks. I just got my test result today after 7 days of using the herbal Medication and it came out Negative to both HSV 1&2.im so delighted I recommend this to anyone suffering from herpes virus. You can get natural Herbal Medication from Dr. Aloha contact him through his email: Alohaherbalhome@gmail.com or WhatsApp +1(202)871-3222.

hi i hope it's not late but you can copy and paste the official ingredients of a product you want and paste it on a website that checks if its fungal acne safe. You can try "sezia.co" hyram recommended it. You can also try "skincarisma.com" then you tap that 3 lines on the upper left and tap that "cosmetic analyzer" and you scroll down then paste the ingredient list there. I find skincarisma much more convenient for me.

I've just bought the Glow Recipe Banana Souffle Moisture Cream 2 weeks ago, and I LOVE it 💛 It's so cute, smells so great, and it's wonderful for oily skin types, though it might not be moisturising enough for drier skin types. The finish is also a beautiful glow, befitting of the brand's name 💛

@@kgirlsupdated9327 My opinion of this moisturiser has changed since I made this comment about a year ago - lol. No, it didn't make me break out, but it's just an expensive basic moisturiser. I was excited about the smell and texture, which I still think are amazing, but it doesn't have any noteworthy moisturising, skin-softening, or skin-calming benefits. It's literally just a moisturiser with a nice smell, texture, and packaging. I'm glad I tried it, but I wouldn't repurchase it, neither would I recommend it to others unless they're just bored and want to try something new.

I'm so sad I really wanted to love the CeraVe PM moisturizer because it has niacinamide, HA, and is lightweight. I just finished my Purito Deep Sea Water Water Cream and although it doesn't dry down immediately, once it did my forehead was oil free for hourrrssss, but with the CeraVe I get oily super quick :( does anyone have a similar experience with the CeraVe? I know everyone loves it, not sure why it doesn't work on me 😭

Yes I had the same experience with cerave pm! The only cerave moisturizer I use is the ultra light lotion with spf 30. The aveeno calm and restore is actually really good for oily skin. I have super super oily skin and I love that one. Also the neutrogena combination skin moisturizer works well and it's much cheaper :)

so if you’ve been keeping up with the news, you’d have seen that the Saharan dust (dust that is carried thousands of miles from the Saharan Desert) this year is especially bad and a lot of the United States is going to be hit by it. It’s not especially bad, but it lowers air quality A LOT. I’d love to see a video with tips on skincare and makeup when air quality is low because of dust or pollution and how to limit our skin’s exposure to free radicals and harmful dust!

As a combo leaning oily skin type that has used a ton of both Rx and OTC actives for my acne/pore size/oil control, the biggest game changer for my skin improving over the last year is trying a Dr. Dray recommended tip: Applying moisturizer immediately after cleansing (while the face is still damp) and letting it dry before applying any actives regardless of whether using serums, etc that may be a thinner consistency. I have been blown away at the difference and won’t apply skincare any other way now. Love your channel and all the great info/topics covered!

The year 2020 is the year where I spent a bit too much on skincare. I used to use drugstore products like Bioderma (cleansers and moisturizers) and The Ordinary for the actives. Nowadays, staying more at home got me bored and as a result, I watched more Beauty Within and I experimented more expensive products like Dr Jart, Drunk Elephant, and Peter Thomas Roth. The bad news is I love it too much I couldn’t go back to my previous routines.😭😭😭 There goes my money.

The video I have been waiting for. Skin is also oily/combo/dehydrated. Managed to find cleansers and toners/essence that works, however have still not found a moisturiser that works for me skin. Too thick, breaks me out. Gel based, semi soaks in skin at first. But after awhile, my skin feels oily, skin looks tanned & feels dehydrated. Has anyone experienced this too? I can’t seem to get this part right. So I’ve been using 100% aloe Vera gel & the Simple moisturiser, but I don’t think it’s enough. I’ve ordered Iunik gel cream, so hoping this will work!

An off topic question: I live in Italy, and here the weather Is terribily humid in summer. I mean: you just had a shower, but in 10 minutes you are sweating like crazy. What would you recommend to do with skincare? Is It ok to wash my face every 3 hours? Should I use a toner? Should I use a cleanser? Is It too irritaring? I have combination, sensitive , acne prone skin (yes. It couldn't be worse)
@jee492
@jee492 4 жыл бұрын
I'm from the Philippines and I could really relate to the humid weather haha bless us. But I don't think washing your face that often will help. It will just strip your face to its natural moisture. I only wash my face twice during summer and once if not and it really helped me. The key for me really is using gentle and lightweight skincare products. P.S We have the same skin type and concern 😁😢
