After I broke up with my ex and was heartbroken and lost and the relationship took such an emotional and mental toll on me that I developed insomnia for 8 months. I realized that the person I used to be was gone and I could never go back... I was truly broken. Then I started listening to these videos and realized that it was a defining point in my life. I had wiped a clean slate and had the opportunity to recreate myself. I wanted to be someone who was focused on their goals, grateful, caring, successful, disciplined, confident. All these traits that I didn't have. Then slowly and consistently I started to become that by listening to these motivational videos and reading and rewriting my goals. Id hate to admit that im 22 and Im 2/3rds of the way getting my High School diploma at my local adult school because of bad choices I made. I feel so far away from my goals (going to a CC and transferring to a CSU), as if I'll never get there. My dream is to have a career in the science field, specifically astronomy. I feel so old being 22 almost 23 and not even in college yet. I dont even have anyone to talk to about this either so just writing this here if anyone reads it. Keep going man, always looking forward, doesnt matter how hard it is, my father was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2015 when i was only 11, i saw my mother get beaten in front of me, saw my brother fithing with a broken leg in front of me and i couldnt move a muscle, and i had my fathers head in my hands while he was losing alot of blood due to one of his falls of the stairs, but i keep looking forward, its still hard to me because i know that my father has max 1 year of life and has many disabilities, but it doesnt matter, i will achieve everything that i want to make my family proud, whathever it takes, so never give up, good luck with your journey, i hope you succeed. sallyf33 it’s never too late, I’m 28 and I feel at times I’m running out of time but that’s society and their standards they try to make anything after 30 seem old and done. Gary vee said at 40 he feels amazing like he can keep going and going and he said when he was in his 20s he thought he would feel finished at 40. I am heaving the most difficult time in my live , it’s been 2 years , and I can’t get out from stress. Stress it’s killing me . I lost my job 6 months ago ,and now I broke up with girl. It’s hard . I tried to go to school and I couldn’t focus , so I stop going. But I believe in God that he si gonna help me. I was thinking to start drinking alcohol, but then I realized it’s not worth it . I can’t do what I love to do because I injured one of my feet 2 years ago , since that time I haven’t played yet , but I know the best it’s about to come ,. I want to lose weight so much, but sadly its impossible because of my current situation. I can work out everyday day all day and drink nothing but water, but not being able to purchase clean food is destroying my body and keeping me overweigh. My obesity makes me feel like an outsider because since I'm an athlete but everyone is in such better shape then me and always looks at me with disgust, it sucks. I just wanna lose weight but being poor sucks. Deep down inside though I know I AM IN SHAPE, and maybe one day I will be able to look in the mirror and actually see it.

I'm 32, a few months ago started living at home with my parents and my two brothers, I'm in debt, recently just went through a brutal break up, and I have been struggling with complex trauma spreads throughout my life. From combat ptsd to childhood. Life beat me down, and it's kept me in its dark embrace for years - but I learned to embrace the pain, and learn that all of that pain is a lesson, it breeds growth from the heart, its where true resolve is born. In the last few months I've began to attend therapy, set a financial plan that I've stuck to, quit smoking, exercise regularly, found a job I'm actually happy with, and have finally for the first time started to find me. Im far from reaching my dreams, but every day I get closer my life only gets better - it's much more fun playing the main character in life, instead of an npc.

I know it hurts, I have been there. You need to learn from your mistake and don't ever make it again. The ratio for woman to men is almost 3 to 1, so its not like there aren't females out there. Focus on becoming the best version of you, women don't like a guy who dweels on their past and lacks confidence. sad guy brother I’m going thur a storm, my wife filed for divorce. It’s been a month or so. Just how you feel, I felt like that. I surrender to God. Because I didn’t know what to do. I was in a dark place. I felt like he world had it for me. I feel happy by his side, an I started working on my self. Going to the gym. I went from 235 lbs to 210 in one month. I feel you Brother, it’s hard I still feel sad some days. But I keep praying and see this videos. I joined a Christian community called Soulcon. It has changed my life. Oh shit for a second i thought i posted this cause i was in the same situation😂 but listen man if you really want her back then get her back thats it... you take no for an answer? I got denied by my gf 7 times over 5 months and she lived in a different state for college until i got her back. Went to the gym everyday, Read everyday, i worked on myself so much because I knew id get her back and now were happier than ever. Use this time to better yourself in only ways you know. And if you truly want her you want even care if she says no a couple times, cause only when you give up do you lose. Just dont be creepy with it.
