I just got one of these because of this video and All I can say is wow. This bass sounds and plays REALLY well for a $500 bass. Anyone wanting the Dingwall tone for a fraction of the cost, DEFINITELY check out one of these basses. Took literally four days to ship from the UK to Arkansas and I haven't been able to put it down since it came in.

I have the 6 string version and for the spec it is stupidly low priced! Absolutely incredible piece of kit! Not amazing fit and finish (mine looked like it had been kicking around on the factory floor for a week haha) but it plays and sounds amazing!

I think I am going for the Ibanez EHB1005, but this one was in the top 3 of what I was considering. The new Spector Dimensions are nice, too, though more expensive. Cool vid!

Currently looking at one of these for my band. We’re tuned to a drop G#. You think that will be a problem with this bass? Also, what distortion effect are you using? It sounds so nice!

While the added length on the B side is gonna help a LOT, dropping down a step and a half is still going to call for heavier strings and probably a little bit of widening of the nut. Nothing uncommon for setting up a bass for heavier tuning but you shoulding need to go AS heavy on the B and E strings to reach your desired tension :)

Amazing bass, and very affordable. Would you consider buying this for someone who plays a lot and wants to get much better? Or this is more for heavy slipknot type? Been using a 150euro bass for 2.4 years now and it's tme for an upgrade, and I checked this one out by coincidence and it looks so good.

If you don't play heavy music maybe you don't need this one. But if you do, this is 100% a great deal for only 300€ with tons of high end features like Evan said. Great multiscale, roasted neck, luminlays, great neck joint and looks cool AF.

Depends how low you tune it ;) Wish I could help more, but it really depends on the cut of the basswood as it varies considerably. Basswood can be a verry light wood, or about standard depending on density and other factors.
