I ran to this video since I love Nars foundations. I’m 50 with combo skin. Applied with fingers (as the brand recommends) and very little amount, the sheer glow and the light reflecting are my holy grails. Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽

Ok i definitely missed the apply with fingers instructions and feel a little silly. It would make me happy if that works out so I don’t feel like I wasted my money as much.

The Soft Matte foundation is the only one I want. 😅 I prefer really matte over dewy. Omg Sephora mis shade matched me in NARS in two separate stores! I guess I may try again and let it dry but to be honest, I have moved on to other foundations.

I still don’t feel like I have a good grasp on my shade for nars and I usually don’t struggle too much. I wish they did a sample shade thing you could buy like haus labs or something.

Just letting you know that all of the nars foundations are designed to be used with the fingers because the founder, François Nars, doesn’t believe in brushes. Once I found that out I felt like I liked the foundations better.

Oh damn that’s great information actually and I feel kinda silly. Makes sense why the brush worked better than the sponge. But now I’ll need to go back and try it out

I put light reflecting in the middle. It’s ok but I don’t think it’s their best foundation like everyone. It doesn’t last as long as the natural one in my opinion

I agree - I talk about it in the video. They all seem to pull pretty yellow on me and I have a hard time shade matching nars
