I would also recommend Necrofier, Deviant Process (best new technical death metal band from Quebec IMHO), The Silver (black metal featuring members of Horrendous) and for those prog fans, check out Hippotraktor and Lutharo. Also, for those who like melodeath like Insomnium, check out Voidfallen.

Some good sounding stuff this month. The Full of Hell album was good. Also looking forward to Mastodon. I saw Ghost Bath live a couple of years back and were really good. Picked up and album and it's wasn't good. But the segment played in this video sounds like a huge improvement. I'll be sure to give it a listen. That Worm release is also tickling my fancy. As is 1914.

Twelve Foot Ninja missed out by a few days. Vengeance is a great step forward for the band overkill gave it 4/5 a really solid album. Comes with a warning, if you're not into fusion or groove. However at least listen to Culture War and the excellent Over and Out featuring a Duet with Tatiana of Jinjer.
