What the hell is wrong with all these movie producers? Nearly ALL of these movies are stuffed with ultra violence, extreme human suffering and gore. Is this what constitutes a good movie nowadays? It's deeply worrying that this meaningless horror is considered to be a worthwhile movie content. Where are the inspiring stories, or captivating the narratives that inspire us, open our minds or expand our imagination in positive ways?

After five movies in a row with female leads, I gave up on the rest. Sorry, I am a male and prefer strong male character leads, with the occasional female (like Ripley in the Alien series) who at least go through development to kick-assery.
