@@JusSumGuy366 yes i have Maine mountain top i lived on a commune in the late 70s at 14 for a summer w my sister , ran into a moose. Only one road down and it was a creek bed. So i had to walk because no car 🚙 could go up or down , only this one dump truck. 🛻 I worked hearing cattle in Montana one summer too . I hike on our huge federal parks in Western NC But i always have my huge personal protection dobe with me now at 63

None of that sounds back woods lol if you say one road down or had no car.. you're not in the woods 🤣 also heading cattle in the 70s also isn't deep woods. Especially in the 70s the wolves were still gone then. I'm from Wyoming, go hike deeeep into grizzly country and tell me you're not looking over your shoulder hiking and listening to ever noise you hear laying in your bag at night lol
