If i was a record producer i'd just scour alleys an streets looking for talent like this. Most of these street musicians have lived hard lives and deserve to be heard.

it is unreal how many people just walk by without taking anytime to notice what this guy is actually doing, i find it sad that we move so fast that you cant take 2 mins to appreciate life around you.
@TehFrenchy2911 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what impresses me more: that he's playing a neck-less Upright using pedals, that he can control his breathing well enough to play harmonica while playing a guitar, that he can do all this at the same time, or that in between harmonica parts he is also singing the whole song ... I don't always see talented people, but when I do there is this strong feeling of YES

Talk about feeling music throughout your whole body! From the strings he strums, to the air he breaths, he doesnt miss a step, from the beat of his feet. I sure hope this guy goes far.

It's a mix of "Lord send me an angel" by Blind Willie McTell and "Crow Jane" by Skip James. I wish the video was much longer, I could watch this guy all day.

While the song is not harmonically complex, there is still an extraordinary and admirable amount of coordination going on. Although drummers use more than two appendages, they don't have to worry about pitch; This guy is doing it all: hands, feet, and vocals/harmonica. To be able to accurately control that much coordination and STILL be able to have fun with ones own self-sustaining jam session is remarkable indeed. I daresay this dude deserves a great deal of props to say the very least.

This is what Ryan told me about the song. By the way, I'm jumping in and out of four songs, all with the same blues form: Crow Jane, from a Skip James arrangement; Lord Send Me an Angel, from Blind Willie McTell; Grocery Clerk, with original lyrics; and an original arrangement of Stack O'Lee Blues at the end.

@concealedpun213510 жыл бұрын
I think you must be joking.
@littlebitsouthern10 жыл бұрын
Why? Don't you think he could have a chance at winning? The instruments are a little ruff looking but if the instruments were a little nicer looking and he could play about any song I think he could go far and maybe just maybe inspire someone else to try.
@dannydine52639 жыл бұрын
I think he probably would not be on the program because hes singing an old Skip James song instead of some modern pop hit but i could be wrong.I think hes one hard working very talented young man.Puts a new meaning to multitasking. His voice is perfect for that style of blues.
