That was my question the entire video. What were they even basing their choices off of?? Love and appreciate Chuck D for everything he’s done and is still doing for hip hop, however, when it comes to technical rapping he isn’t skilled enough to compete with any of the guys that he beat in this. Even in the Golden age of the late 80s, when it comes to just straight Emceeing, apart from the messaging, he isn’t held up as a lyricist with the Rakim’s, BDK’s, KRS 1’s, G Rap or Slick Rick for that matter.
