***** I don't agree with you there. Since I have not been to Japan or Hong Kong, I can't say either is better or worse than Taiwan. But I can still say Taiwan is a very beautiful place to visit. Tourist should definitely travel further than just Taipei. I especially love the south, with very nice cities, friendly and welcoming people and beautiful landscapes. And the food... All the food everywhere in Taiwan is delicious. I can recommend people to travel there if only for the food. Anyway, you are Taiwanese, you look at your country with different glasses. People usually think less of their own country, because they see everything that is wrong as well. I have the same with my home country (the Netherlands).

Taiwan has some beautiful nature, especially in the Alisan forest. Some cities are completely modernized while others still have the traditional look. The night markets are almost everywhere where there's a city, and the countryside has a great atmosphere and good homemade food. Taiwan is very diverse and complex, so the first trip is always very exciting because you don't know what to expect! :)

Natural beautiful in Taiwan is also amazing, but you got one thing right. People is the best thing you will find "and miss" here. Don't believe me ? come see it yourself !

I remember my first introduction to Taiwan. Some students who were there to help me and my friend get settled were going to show us around Kaohsiung. We spent all day going from food place to food place. I immediately knew how important food is in Taiwan.

Great work guys! I love Ningxia Night Market. It was the first night market I ever visited the first time I went to Taiwan last summer. My hotel was right next to it (CU Hotel which you guys walked by). I've only tasted a fraction of the food offerings and I've been to the country twice already. I got some of the ren bing when I was in Jiufen, but it didn't have the cilantro in it. That tea house was really great too. Looks like I need to go back a third time for my summer break this year.

Wow, it's so weird to see you guys in Ningxia. I live right next to it and I go there pretty often with my friends to eat stinky tofu and play pachinko to get weird-looking stuffed animals! I guess I've become kinda Taiwanese haha I'm a French girl living in Taiwan BTW, and I love it so much! Absolutely love Taiwan. I'll always visit it at least once every two years. That Turkish ice cream guy has been there for 19 years man! Definitely one of my favourite places in the world to visit alongside thailand

Tonghua Linjiang Street Market is dope AF. I'm here right now in Taiwan and its LIT! I'm from Seattle and I'm here for about a month covering as many night markets as possible. I just went to Liaoning Night Market and its more of a local vibe and much smaller.

Haha, I wish we had night markets around here! That would be such a fun thing to do with friends in the evening. It seems like all of the night life for young people around here is going clubbing and drinking and I'm not into that. I would TOTALLY be into shopping outdoors!

Next time you guys could focus more on the national parks of Taiwan, or spots/things to do that are in the out doors. Because for that people that loves hiking, mountain climbing, rafting, diving, surfing, etc, or people that wants to see our natural habitat, we have plenty for them to see and do. You can go further in depth with Taiwan's history and Aboriginese and Hakka culture. Or even some of Taiwan's industries. Often times, if you go to a town that is known for a certain trade in Taiwan, they also use it in terms of tourism. For example, Yingge is known for ceramics, Meinong is known for paper umbrellas and other Hakka culture. Taiwan is also great for backpackers. Also, in recent years, there are many very high quality B&Bs showing up in Taiwan, all with their own unique themes.

Im Kaohsiung local. Actually, the local hang out another night market called Rueifong night market much often, instead of Liuohe. Although the food are still awesome in Liuohe, we just don't go there. Anyway, ur video makes me super super miss my home.
