While digital is more convenient because you don't have to carry all the games around if your on a trip and you don't have to get up to switch games when playing on the TV I still prefer physical games because collecting them and I like having the option to sell the game later or get a refund if I don't like the game since the eShop doesn't offer refunds

You can't sell it if it's a rare hidden gem Worth more than you paid. Physical takes up less SD storage when full game is on the cart. You have box art and manuals with physical. The carts are so small you can carry 24 games in a case the size of your phone.

As I got older, I started to not want to bother with physical copies anymore. It's way more convenient especially on a handheld to have all your games stored on your system. Box art is all generic now, and theres not even manuals anymore. People say "oh well you can keep them forever" but I always ended up selling my physical copies of games anyway. And it's not like I ever got any good money for them. Digital is just easier or more simple for me nowadays.

Nintendo isn't officially available in my country so independent distributors usually bulk import games from other regions and resell them with small margins. This way is cheaper for us because digitally we dont get regional pricing, hence more expensive charges for nintendo eshop credits. I can get brand new botw cartridge for almost at half price of the digital US version.
