Is your hair texturized because 4c hair usually has no curl pattern. I use the products and they are very good but they don’t define what I don’t have
@pamylasworld4 жыл бұрын
hey! because my hair is bleached there has been some chemical process done to it which has slightly effected my curl pattern. However, when my hair is not chemically processed I still do have a defined 4c curl pattern. Some 4c hair does definitely have a tight but defined curl pattern and some is less defined. I typically finger coil my hair with gel which will definitely emphasis a curl! I recommend trying that or shingling, it might help your curl pattern appear more defined, and if not then so be it! Not all 4c hair does, but just know you and your hair are still poppin regardless! There's a lot of misconceptions about what 4c hair looks like or is supposed to look like, (not to mention people falsely claiming to have 4c when they dont) so it can feel discouraging or misleading when results don't turn out the same way--I get it. Sometimes a leave in and cream aren't enough alone for to style with, so deff try some gel or mousse if you wanna play around with it! 4c hair can most definitely have a spiral pattern, a zig zag pattern, sometimes both, or sometimes neither it depends! 4c is determined by how densely packed together the hair is aka shrinkage for dayyyyyysssss! Hope this helps!

Great video! I have very dry 4c hair, after 3 days was your hair dry? Did you need to add more oil?
@pamylasworld3 жыл бұрын
Hey! I wouldn't say that I "needed" to add oil on the 3rd day, but I might have since Melanin is my favorite. I don't remember the specifics on what I did to my hair later that week, sorry but I hope this helps answer some of your questions!! :) It's a great product/company, I definitely recommend.

Pamyla, I love your channe! What are your thoughts on the curl sponge on a twa? Would you ever use it to get even more defined curls? Thanks!
@pamylasworld4 жыл бұрын
Hi thank you so much!! ☺️🤍 I haven’t ever used a curl sponge, but when my hair isn’t long enough to finger curl I do mimic the motion of a curl sponge with my hands to define them. I’ve also seen some people do the same motion with a cotton t shirt instead of the curl sponge. Hope this helps 😁

Have you ever tried the product without adding the oil as a step? And if so how did you like it? Was your hair hard after drying, leave a caste, etc., I realize using oil is a staple but seeing as the product's claim is the moisturization and doesn't say to add oil I wondered if the claim holds up.
@pamylasworld4 жыл бұрын
Hi Lisa, great question! I can't say I've never used oil in this haircare routine before, it's a crucial step for me. The melanin oil definitely adds more moisture to the routine (that oil with 4C ONLY is a match made in Heaven!!) but are the products moisturizing without oil? Absolutely! As far as the results after the products dried, I did notice there was sort of a hardness from the styling cream. Nothing like a hard gel, more along the lines of a custard. The cream can most definitely hold the shape of a curl or twist out! There was no white caste or funky coating though, just a stronger hold than I was expecting from a cream. Oil is personal, not everyone likes it in their routine, so I think you'd still find tons of moisture from this product as long as you're starting on a saturated surface. Hope this answered your question, feel free to ask if you have anymore!!

I bought the whole wash day kit for 85.00(that is with tax and shipping). The products are very, very concentrated. So depending on your hair length, these products will go a long way. Way better than using half a container of an inferior product just trying to get a little slip.
