You can do it. You just can’t expect to get the same results like using gel. Honestly I have stopped using gel regularly and I think the only time I will go back to it is during the warmer months.

Gurrlll, I was obsessed with that oil but be careful, if you use too much it can really dry out your hair. It looks good tho..let us know how it is in a few days. I don't use gel at all because my hair is really light, but the mielle pomegranate custard is my ride or die gel subsititute!
