Definitely not. I worked with all models and concluded that my nunchaku are the best. Best speed, best spin, very strong and powerful strikes and thats my finally answer, because I made own nunchaku not buy! :) OSS!

Depends on what you plan to do with them. Demonstration nunchakus typically have a short chain (for speed). Long chains are useful against armed opponents (for reach). A medium chain feels best to me (still plenty of speed, reach and power). Weight is completely dependant on your strength. Once you've been practising for many years, no weight is too heavy (solid metal becomes almost as fast as wood).

Less talk more training :) I know what you say, I have over one hundred nunchaku metal, wood, plastic with rope or chain all size :) I repeat this is my homemade nunchaky and this is my best option. Best strikes, speed power and spins. Big people use longer nunchaku and longer rope or chain, not every weapons for every man :) If you not very powerful you cant use english longbow, or if you not flexibility you cant training tae kwon do :) People who talk thats not real nunchaku, thats fake . . . stay in fron of me and I will kick you in the face with this spead and break your head :) It very hurts I know :) :) :) Thanks for support man OSS!

When I was 13 yo I made my own chucks and they were thin like these. I used a broomstick and a dog collar chain. Thin and lightweight wood and a short chain or cord are key to speed.
