that combination was pretty fast and looked very nice. I thought about buying the dvd but I was wondering if you could make a preview with the final kata. The full version. Not the instruction but I would like to see what the final kata looks like before I buy.

Those aren't ProChux (I know as I have three pairs) or their imitations the "speed chucks" to me they look like a Century nunchuck (looks like their Shikata series to me).

I have just started martial arts(3 weeks) and we have tryed nunchuks (I know I can't spell). all I ended up doing was cracking myself over the back of the head, and it was so much simpler than this. They hurt...

The classical nunchaku is made to match the size of your forearms and wrist so the size of your hands is irrelevant. You should really try them, the power of the swings is an amazing feeling. As for speed chucks the main problem with them is their weight and shape (round not octagonal) thus not being very effective as a combat weapon. Nice form none the less :)

she is cute, bye the way I wanted to learn this kata but for one for best performance with a chain nunchaku I dont know if I should get 12 inch chucks or 11 1/2 demo pair and I dont know if I need to get 3 chain link or 4 chain link. Any advice would be great.

I know the difference between performance and combat (in fact only two moves in this form can be applied in combat). But you can use a combat worthy weapon for performance just as successfully (see Lee Barden, or the man who taught me). I don't really know what you mean by "full size", the "full size" of a nunchaku directly co-relates to the size of your hand, wrist and forearm. So in the lady's case it would be approximately the size of the one she's holding just differently designed.

You can do just as effective show with a combat worthy weapon (compare ProChux and Speed Chucks). As for the size; as I said earlier a nunchaku has to be made to the size of the person using it (so if the person is small it will still be small). As for the XMA katana... sorry it doesn't stand in the competition with the real thing. If someone actually knows how to use it, it will be no less effective when u use a real one.
