For Heavy/Light armor skill all you need to do is have rats pin you in a corner and let them continuously hit you. Since they are weak foes you won't die, as long as you keep tabs on your health and heal yourself. I've done it in the tutorial and left the sewers with max armor and armorer skills.

googlejse: to do this on PS3: You will have to do the mages guild quests to obtain the ability to enchant and make spells. You do not need the deepscorn lair!! There are already immortal being in oblivion that don't mind you hitting them with whatever you like (blade, blunt, destruction etc.) travel to the deadric shrine of Peryite. The follower are all unconscious until you complete this shrine's guest and you can hit them all you like no problem

The best way to level up light/heavy is to go into the lady in Anvil who has rats in her basement (max difficulty) agro them (lower difficulty) and sir in a corner. Be sure to heal yourself from time to time so you don't die.

A great way to get gold is go to Dorian's house in Talos Plaza,use a paralyze on him,then pickpocket him.The gold never goes away.

I'm sorry but I'm not too sure about that, I had no idea ps3 didn't have the houses. One thing you could try however would be using the drain skill and train, but for things like the weapons, you can buy a cheap horse crank the difficulty up and whack away. but use a cheap iron dagger, as it won't kill the horse as fast, and you can always start training in armorer by repairing that crappy dagger a lot.

You know with the drain skill spells, if you use the dupe glitch to put on permanent enchantments that increase your magicka and willpower for the regen speed, you could make a drain skill spell that lasts 60 seconds. So for example drain marksmanship 100 points, then during the 60 seconds you fire arrows into a conjured skeleton, you could level up faster that way.

@@DarthXile Ok so logically it makes sense that it would work. Everyone knows skills level up fast when they're low. got my destruction skill drained to 0 and i casted some fireballs at a skeleton. Unfortunately there was no change that i could see :( Edit: Yeah definitely doesn't do anything. I get the best way is to raise the difficulty to max, and just cast fireballs at one of those slaves in deepscorn hollow. I noticed that destruction doesn't raise as fast if i use a destruction spell on myself.

@@DarthXile yeah it sucks. well i can still use that glitch to drain my destruction down and use a trainer to level it up. I'm making a max character. im only level 18 and my strength, endurance and speed are at 100. Also my agility is at 65, intelligence and willpower are at 75. I just dupe ingredients and make a ton of potions to upgrade alchemy to get my intelligence bonus, and i train 5 levels in destruction with a destruction trainer, and 5 levels in alteration because my alteration is only at 25 so it levels faster, which means i'll get my willpower bonus when i level up. My main goal is to have 100 in all my major skills, and 100 in destruction and restoration when im level 50. I'm making a knight that can use destruction and restoration to give him an edge.

It's DLC, if you didn't buy it, it won't be there, if you did buy it, it might not be installed, installed incorrectly, or installed but not checked off. If it's GOTY edition. then it most certainly should be there.

go to skingrad mage guild and speak to the person who sells the spell, i think its either an argonian or an elf there.

You have to know the spell effect, have the required skill level to cast it (25), and the magicka to cast it. Alternatively, having the effect on you via a racial bonus or power, such as with the birth sign or any doom stones will work.

I liked the trainer I've played this game forever myself and this is first time I've played with all dlcs anyways I wanted to say the trainer thing is neat as far a $ goes but with dupe glitch is kinda irrelevant. the problem is being able to train more than 5 times per overall level. Is there a way around this? Since I'm about to max out all attributes I'm not sure if I'll be able ascend much higher in overall level.

If you were to use only trainers for all of your skills you would have to go around the whole map 20 times and you would have to level up 20 times Or you could get fortify skill and attribute spells and make armor that puts them all to 100 Men I'm going to do both just to be sure

So the drain skill, train, rinse and repeat tactic isn't working for me. I drained my skill 100, trained 5 levels, the max amount of training for my level was reached, and so when I backed out and tried to cast again it still said the max amount of training was reached and didn't let me train anymore so did I do something wrong...? Or is that patched on the 360?

If you haven't figured it out in one month,here you go: You can only use a trainer *5 TIMES PER LEVEL* go level up after you used trainer 5 times,then the next level you can do it again.

The jump one i discovered by myself minutes ago because i like to jump inside buildings, don't ask me why...So i've gained a level but i'm new on oblivion, so i don't know where i put my attribute points... PC only mate. You can do it on console by joining the mages guild and playing it till you can create spells and enchant items at the imperial city mages guild (the abotorum or however you spell it) then go to the daedric shine of pyrite and cut sick on all of em and none of them mind.

Drain skill/train isn't very useful, you can only train 5 times per level, i'd be better off running and jumping from each town rather than fast travelling, that'd still level me up faster

I train when I'm playing on the hardest difficulty but only what I need to make the combat manageable at my current level. But to 100 everything at the beginning of the game that's crazy. And yes I know this is old but I've been watching oblivion videos and it popped up.

This may be a bit much, sorry lol. But it's 100% legit. Make a tour of all the mages guilds, loot all of the alchemy tools and sell them. If you have the patience, take all the books with a value to weight ratio of at least 5 to 1 (leave the skill books alone) as well. Easy 6k septims at the minimum. Find and steal at least 10 to 15 vials of skooma, then go aggro Umbra and let her chase you on foot back to the Imperial City using the skooma. Let the guards kill her, but not before she kills a good number of them. Turn the difficulty to max when you're ready for the guards to kill her. Loot them all and sell the weapons and armor. Even more money. Not quite 100k, but should be enough for the spells and what you need for Deepscorn and Frostcrag.
