@@3bar I raced in the NHRA fairly successfully, nationwide, for many years. Not once did I ever see Pam Hardy be the backup girl for the Excalibur, AA/FC car. For a few years, she dated the guy that tuned that car. 1970-1973, I/we owned a NHRA AA/FC long nose Chevy Vega that was powered by a 392 hemi. I raced against Jungle Jim twice. I beat him both times. 1974, I/WE sold that car to Jungle Jim Liberman. That car is now at Don Garlits Museum in Ocala FL today. BTW, my name is not Einstein, and I don't claim to be a genius either, PUTZ.

I remember watching Jungle run at NEDway and a number of other big names in the 70's & 80's. Awesome FC meets back then. Got to sit in the Tower and watch them as my mom worked in the tower then. Worked there all 4yrs of HS and the WWCS meets. Man I miss those days.
