Pad stacks are fairly tricky these days in my opinion. Modern pads are designed to rotate outward, as you know. In the olden days pads didn't move much, they were strapped on pretty tight so they'd stay facing forward when a goalie stacked 'em. These days if you try to stack, the low pad on the ice will want to rotate towards the ice so it just doesn't work easily. I'm sure it's possible, but it'd require some practice to figure out how to pull it off. Anyway, hell of a game, bud!

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but my pad spins sideways on me when I've tried stacking! Stacking the pillows always looks cool, no matter how efficient it may or may not be! 😆
