Hi guys,
In this video you can get to know how the Trulli village of Alberobello looks like.
But what do locals call Trulli? Well, they are those whitewashed stone huts with conical roofs.
There are a couple of places of interest, which you can enjoy on a sunny summer Italian day. I personally recommend grabbing something for lunch from one of the local bakeries on the Main Square - the starting point of the two parts of the village. It is separated into a new neighbourhood, where the municipality, the church and the Trulli Love steps are, and an old district, where the authentic Trullis can be observed.
Nowadays, the village of Alberobello is protected by UNESCO and what I find extremely interesting about it is the fact the some of the Trullis are still inhabited by locals.
Have you ever visited Alberobello and did you enjoy the atmosphere and architecture?
