I live In India - West bengal, and we have Civets here in the small towns and rural areas. They are mainly nocturnal and very shy. You can tell that theres a Civet nearby when it smells like butter popcorn or basmati rice porridge in the air. The mainly hunt small rodents and sometimes other small animals.

I love that Conan actually lets the animal expert talk, is willing to try something and get out of his comfort zone, and doesn’t over react to an animal that you’ve probably already scene on tv, images, or books. That is true about the Jaguars/Panthers being all over the Southern US, even in areas like Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, etc. Several Native tribes in those regions had clans, which often included the Panther clan. My own tribe had a Panther clan. They were very important to many Native tribes and it would be great to see them back in their original homelands.
