You do such a great job of advertising China! It really makes me look forward to learning Mandarin one day, as I’d get to use it in such a beautiful and unique country. Although America and China don’t have a good relationship, I don’t care because I know, especially from your videos, how kind and sweet the people are, how delicious the food is, and how unparalleled China’s beauty is in its culture, traditions, and landscapes. I really hope I get the chance to see for myself one day!

Acquired taste, just like Greek's ouzo. Very sharp if you are not used to it, but once acquired, you can detect the subtle flavors... ie, before you get high 😀. . most baijiu are over 60 % alcohol!

Wow as many times I’ve been in China I’ve never ventured into the old Hutong community to seek out the eateries specializing in authentic Chinese cuisine. I’ll definitely need to visit there the next time I visit. Thank you for sharing this wonderful adventure!

I love your videos! thank you!!! the only thing i wished is that you put the prices of the food, just to know more about prices:) Thank you again!! greetings from uruguay
@AleeseLightyear2 жыл бұрын
Since it's a food tour, you pay one price for the tour and all the food is included. So I never learned the prices of each dish on it's own. I did a self guided food tour when I visited Chongqing, you can watch that video and see the prices there.

inner Mongolia instead of Mongolia
@LibeliumDragonfly2 жыл бұрын
no, it's just called "Mongolian bbq", it's not even that Mongolian, so it has nothing to do with either Mongolia as the country or inner Mongolia. The first form was developed by Manchu court in Qing dynasty, there might be some Mongolian influence, but not that much, it is only called "Mongolian bbq" because the dude who brought it to Taiwan was afraid of being labeled a "commie sympathizer" if he called it "Beijing bbq".
