Another awesome build video from u guys. In my opinon I think more ppl will give u crap over the fact that u tore appart that prefect jeep for this old school built. I love the fact myself that ur savin another old iron for another life. Keep up with all the awesome content. With u droppin the body down like that, u aint gonna be able to run that brush guard stickin out cause ur tire will end up catchin it in a turn and the tire stuffed up.

Hey there Cory. I have a helpful tip for dealimg with the moving of projects around tge property. If you roll the front bucket like when you are carrying around gravel and still hook up to that hook in middle on the top of bucket. It will keep you from having to have the bucket way up in tge air and push it out away from front of backhoe.
@GregoryBamber

As for the front fenders, have the headlight mount part of the fenders at original height then cut, raise and fill the gap the outer section of the fenders to clear the tyres.

Keep both the fender and the grill guard, cut a slot in the fender to fit around the guard. Like, meld them together with part of the fender in front of the guard. Move the fender forward to where you want it and cut around the guard and fit them together. Light can be mounted in front of guard? or behind. could even mount them under the fender, but don't think that would look good. KEEP the fenders! you guys will figure out a way.

I like watching how you two work together, GREAT! Suggestion, build a small tower from the frame for the headlights to be behind the guard and put the front fenders above the headlight where you had them mocked up. It's your build and you will do what you want and you have a great eye, just a suggestion. Take care and see you next week.

@vinniegillotti9347
@vinniegillotti9347 Жыл бұрын
I would take the headlight guards off of that front grill guard because I unbolt slide them up about 68 inches mount your fenders with the headlights on top and then the guards will be in front of them. I would also put the side steps back on and your rock sliders can support them and protect them
@jackmacica5407

Love watching you guys! Great new project. Things coming together nicely. Could you use the old inner fenders to close the gap on the sides of the engine? And I know you’ll hate this idea, but if you come up with the body even 2 inches, that will help your hood alignment and probably give needed space for the roll cage. Can’t wait to see where this goes!
