Hello! Yes, we did look at it, but we'll be in Cornwall then, having a bit of a break after the Devon show 🙂 There's so many great show... If only they'd organise them so they'd flow north to south in order 🤣 Next time!

Hi, Do you have any trouble using camp sites with the van? I’ve heard some sites don’t like them parked next to the caravan! Probably something to do with not looking like a gypsy site!?

Hi Dave, In response to your question - Yes & No. When booking sites, it helps to explain that you tow with a panel van. Being upfront about this is better than arriving and having to plead. For us, we're often booking campsites near to the showground, so this helps with the explanations. However, if you are able to communicate clearly and coherently with campsite owners, this gives them the confidence in you. I would expect that if you turned up with a Transit Tipper or similar that you could have problems, but many panel vans are very tidy nowadays and don't look out of place. If they are sign written, then you will also need to declare this. Hope this helps!

Hello again, For this site, we'd exhausted the usual options of pitch up and CMC, so I hopped onto Google Maps and searched for campsites in the area and found this one. It seems to be fairly new, as it wasn't showing on satellite view. Hope this helps.
