Hello Everyone!
So sorry for the awful delay in getting this video out to you. We've been so incredibly busy recently, it's just been manic! Anyway, finally got this video done, so hope you enjoy it. Bit of a testing time here - our 3-way fridge failed to light on gas, possibly because we've been dragging our old caravan around the country for the past few weeks. So, when in a pickle, visit Halfords! We bought one of their super 12v cool boxes, but found that it drew more power than our solar could replace, resulting in a flat battery. In truth, two things were working against us. 1 - The leisure battery we were using came with the caravan, back when we bought it in 2018, so who knows how good it is, and 2 - The weather was pretty grey and not great for generating power from solar.

Who are we?
We’re Jamie & Stacey McNeill, two, 30-something professionals, who’d had enough of the rat race in summer 2018, when we quit our jobs and sold our house, in order to live full time in a touring caravan in Wales.

This is probably a long shot but we have the same caravan as you and unfortunately it didn’t come with curtains just wondered if you knew where to get some from as we don’t know the attachments and sizes ect

Good buy those fridges , we’ve had one a couple yrs now and even worked well in +28dgs heatwave. Is your regular fridge totally goosed ?

Hello! Yes, the little Halfords coolbox did us proud, despite it being power hungry. Haven't had chance to investigate the old fridge yet, but I can't imagine it's going to be much to sort it.

The fridge most likely has a blocked jet, easy fix new jet.

Yes, I am sure that it is something simple. With it having been bounced around a lot recently, it probably hasn't helped. I haven't had chance to take a look at it, there it's only a pilot light, so cannot be too much wrong with it.

We bought a larger leisure battery from Halfords, which helped. Still didn't totally resolve things - The cool box is just too power hungry, really. Shame, as it's a cracking little unit.
