The love and friendship of one of the best comedic duos of all time.
This video is not, in any form, an endorsement of Jay Leno.

I don't like that people tell Spade he should have died. That's not cool. They're both lovely people and I wish Farley was still around today, but I am grateful that we still have David.

Spade helped Farley succeed as well. Farley needed a guy like Spade to balance things out. Fat guy fall down go boom got old when the entire movie was based around that concept. Beverly Hills Ninja is a prime example. They were a great team, no one more important than the other.

SollertisKhan thats just a big running joke. They were like brothers. Ive layed my sisters on their ass a few times. Spade loved him and did everything he could for him. Farley was a great comedian he was hilarious, but if you watch the documentary “I am chris farley” you know that he sucked at writing. That was why him and dave worked were so dynamic. David gave chris every opportunity to succeed, and farley made them both legends. It look them both. Losing farley was such a blow to spade. Theres no doubt in anyones mind that he loved him, he wasnt afriad as much as he was like dude wtf. I acnt imagine the pain it was for him to lose his friend at the height of all that. He’s obviously angry and hurt, his friend hated himself enough to do that to himself.

The sad thing about the whole thing is that if the hooker just called the ambulance instead of just leaving he'd still be alive today or at the very least wouldn't have died at that moment.

I want to say that this was a very satisfying watch, just mashing up the found footage while focused on the story of Chris and David. I'm only finding this video 3 years after you made it, Best of Humans, but you have the makings of a great documentarian. I don't know what your personal path is, or even if you care to become a more skilled documentarian, but this work shows real promise. I hit the Subscribe button and haven't looked yet at any of your more recent work, but if this video is the start on your path, I am excited to see what else you can do.

I've been watching a lot of Farley videos today...and this was the best. There is a lot of insight into what his greatness is. He was always willing to put himself out there. He was always into it for the laughter. And...I respect that so much. It's one of the few things we have to hold on to.
