specter290 The NBA owned the team that Cp3 was on, New Orleans so they were able to veto the trade, but they don’t own the warriors or any other team in the league so they can not veto any signing of a player or trade unless they own the team

David Stern was entirely within his power to choose CP3's destiny. This isn't comparable to other players and teams. The league at large typically doesn't directly control its teams' day-to-day operations because that's not how franchising works.
