Lundy spent most of his life obsessing and hunting killers and was smart enough to see the Trinity Killer’s pattern. There is no damn way this man doesn’t pick up on the fact that the BHB’s trophies are Bloodslides and NOT think it’s the blood analyst.

He probably wans't convinced about Doakes and he definitly had suspicions on Dex, but the FBI just wanted to close the case as soon as possible. They had enough evidence, Lundy would destroy his carrier if he pithced his theory just with a hunch as prove.

It is implied and said by the creators he already knew Dexter was the Butcher. But then Doakes incriminated himself in a clumsy attempt, then he fell for Debra, so he was backed against a corner. Also, Lundy says the one reason for killing was to save an innocents life. Every single victim of the Butcher has escaped judgment, and even Dexter killed a copycat. So, is like te professional curtesy Dexter mentioned

@@iEcksy I think he suspected Dexter ever since he started dating Debra. She would definitly have talked a lot about Dex and he would smell his "good guy " act a mile away. I think the only reason he let Dex slide was because the FBI was on his back to close the case asap, giving him no time to investigate anyone other than Doakes. He'd be risking his job on hunch he knew he could never prove (unless he caught Dexter in the act), and since Dex's targets were worst than him, i guess he tought : " Next time you make a mistake i'll be here to catch you".

Prob not since it's portrayed from Dexter's perspective to give signs to the audience that may or may not be there. Even for as calm and calculating as Dexter is he still is human and becomes a semi unreliable pov in high stress scenarios imo.

Shoulda tried “Deb-a-Leb-a-Ding-Dong, I’m the Bay Harbiggity Butch-Butch”, maybe she’d’ve been cool with it.

I'm just wondering how they're gonna try to tie the algae to where the killer keeps his boat. It is a harbor after all. Many different boats are at the docks. An one of them could have been in the same area as Dexter. It's possible all those docks have the same algae on them.

13:38 They should've figured it out right there. Like... "Oh hey look at Dexter's face. He's definitely the serial killer. Case solved."
