I kinda disagree. He doesn't take contract work anymore. Don't get me wrong I get it, if I was making millions a year on KZbin I wouldnt want to work on other peoples projolects either. However, I find the videos less interesting because of this. Also spends more time buying new equipment than working and fixing the old stuff. Again, I get it but it is less interesting to me.

Just my thoughts, every tub sets on it on bottom.

How do you even pick the "best of" AC? There are so many different reasons why people love this channel and each person likely has their favourites. To name a few. 1. His audacity to tackle crazy personal projects like the container castle 2. His willingness to share all the flubs with us. We know other's who edit out their mistakes. 3. His love for animals 4. His torture testing of equipment to see if it'll break for no reason. 5. His epic drone scenic shots. 6. His ability to single-handedly do things that a crew of men might not tackle while simultaneously filming it. 7. His attention to detail for finish landscaping while at the same time not giving AF about the cosmetic condition of most of his equipment. 8. Watching him breath new life into old, neglected machines. Seriously I could go on.

I'm proud of my kids too Andrew, though sadly i lost my eldest son John Wilson 56yo at Melbourne Australia on October 23, last year to cancer. It devastated me, i'm supposed to be the one to go first. Also because of the Covid stuff i couldn't go there to say goodbye to John. I've got a son called Andrew too, he is 32yo, about your age, and he is living in Sydney. Andrew is married and very handsome. I am proud of, John, Stephen, Debbie, Andrew, and Christine. I admire your initiative, Andrew, nothing defeats you, thats a good attitude to have. I'm an old soldier got a lovely wife, and our home is in the Philippines, where we will be returning to just as soon as the crazy stuff ends. I'll be following your progress Andrew even when we are back on Cebu, until the good Lord decides to take me. Thank you Andrew, for all your very interesting videos and no bad language, thats a plus. Watching you reminds me of my younger years when there was very few things I wouldn't do myself. I built my home between 1989 and 1990. I would work my regular job 8hrs and go to the construction site work until I was exhausted then do it again each day. Took me 13 months from start to moving in my new home. The only work contracted out was finishing the drywall and having the siding and gutters installed. I feel your videos are very inspiring to what you can accomplish if you have the passion, desire and determination to do so. "Ehh! Good enough. It runs, don't it?" In so many words, *get it done.* A very practical, straightforward way of looking at the stuff of life. There's a method to your madness, and a madness to your method. I couldn't take my eyes off it. Pure poetry.

I'm a 75 year old grandma from the UK. I watch this channel for your outrageous optimism, tinged with touch of madness, together with a complete disregard for the final appearance of anything you 'fix'. For you, I think, function is everything and form can go hang.

Great accomplishment of surpassing the 1 Million Subscriber mark. I too once worked as a Rural Mail Carrier, that my Father who also worked at, just for the Christmas Season, back when USPS introduced Sunday Delivery to keep up with the introduction of Amazon packages, before Amazon had their own Delivery trucks. Great overview of the previous 10 yrs. I still have my collection of old metal Tonka Trucks.

This is so fantastic! This absolutely made my day. AC is a one in a million person, a national treasure. His name should be added to any list of antidepressants!

44:12 I swear that Hitachi stopped by itself even before Andrew touched it, it knew what its master wanted it to do. Andrew, you have changed the lives of many, including mine. Since I've come across your channel I have engraved in me the spirit of "fix it yourself" and I've saved myself thousands of dollars by not having to buy new. Although my tool collection has quadrupled but they paid for themselves already. I'm totally a different, new person after I came to know you. The pandemic also pushed me to change my values inside out too. You're a beacon of hope.

Congrats, Florian on creating such a wonderful movie. It's just like you explained it all those months ago only better! Lots of very funny moments, emotional scenes and some great archival material. And most of all thank you to Andrew for showing us around your property and trusting us to make this film.

One of my favorite channels and a source of fun and inspiration all the time. I started seeing you or videos a few years back I think it was the drainage ones. Have loved every minute of this stuff. I love fixing things and taking stuff apart and wish I had some heavy equipment to mess around with. By day all my work is abstract cloud computing so the tangible stuff in these videos and my own hobbies is a great source of fun.
