Arin was right about the crab thing, but explained it in a way that sounded like he was a nutbar. Basically, the ancestor of the crab split off, but somehow many of those branches returned right back to identical forms independently, it's like if all carnivores evolved into slightly different racoons. It's so common, the term was called "carcinization" which means becoming crab-like, and now you have a scientific way to say "return to crab".

From google itself "A vegan diet excludes all meat and animal products (meat, poultry, fish, seafood, dairy and eggs)". Who on Earth said that consent was needed and furthermore, why is everyone simply believing this? are you a vegan? I'm not myself but I have several friends who are, and I can tell you: what is and is not vegan is very much up to which philosophy you follow. some of them eat honey, others do not because it exploits bees. some are vegan because of the environment, some are vegan because if a belief in animal exploitation on _all_ levels (which is where the idea of consent comes in, and why if a human agreed to it any human produce would be vegan), some are vegan because they do not want to support in huge industrialised animal farms.
