I've been meaning to make this compilation since ages. God Is An Astronaut is one of the best bands out there and I have been devotedly listening to them for the past 7 years and this compilation has 30 of my absolutely favourite songs from them. I have tears in my eyes. GIAA was with me in my best time of life. First loves, first kisses, first alone travels, every song reminds me about something or someone. This is so absolutly wonderful feel and hard to describe. Time flies, these memories will never come alive again but GIAA music helps me go back in time. I have to wipe my eyes now.

Because it seems rather definitive, and as much as I don't want to believe it, I hope you're not planning on doing anything rash. I may be just a stranger, but if there's something I learned about post-rock, it's that it's probably one of the most beautiful sanctuaries for troubled minds. there used to be a rock band called mad at gravity, this band always kind of reminds me of their intstrumental sound/style. like, spritzy and almost upbeat, uptempo deifnitely-- but atmospheric and plaintive.
