Message to the band "VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY"........I'm a musician from Australia. Heard your music for the first time the other day. Have absorbed so much of it in such a short time. Your music is brilliant, the blended instruments traditional and new, the ability to be a big band and reduced to a small band of 3, maintaining the essence of your music true!. YOU GUYS ROCK! AND THIS ALBUM IS EPIC AND HAS STRONG FOUNDATIONS TO TRAVEL THROUGH TIME, YOUR LYRICS ARE INSIGHTFUL, INSPIRING, AND ENLIGHTENING. THANK YOU 🙏👍👍👍

I'm going through some serious changes in my life, at 39 years old. After using drugs and alcohol for almost 20 years, my life was in ruins. I found myself homeless, and in and out of hospitals due to underlying and quite serious health issues. This album got me through the darkest of those days. I'd listen to it every chance I got. Now that I'm in recovery, I can listen to it again! I've been sober for 51 days today. Sitting here jamming out, and enjoying being me. Truly incredible. It's amazing how much music has helped me on this incredibly tough, challenging, and brutal journey. I'm not always happy that I'm sober today, but I know it's the best choice I've ever made. I'm finally finding out what makes me tick. Thank you for making this incredible music. I cannot do anything to possibly repay you. Just know that there's someone out there who loves what you do, and making this album was worth it.

Just found this. WOW. This is some of the best jams I have heard in a dog's age. It is wonderful to say hello to the entire world community through shared love of art and to KNOW that we are all the same with one love and one soul. The politicians of the world lie and divide us while art and knowledge has the power to unite us. From a friend in the U.S., one love to all as our species moves to the day we will live in the stars. When I smoke and close my eyes I think of you all......all of you. I want you to know that I KNOW your lives, your loves and your dreams are real and have MEANING. I am glad we could meet here with this music, in this time and place. End the wars, end poverty and let's take our place in the heavens in THIS LIFE!!! Peace and love to you all.

The blues pentatonic scale, meeting with the pentatonic rhythms of ancient greek music of Epirus. Ancient greek Askavlos, and Balkan Clarinet, interchanging and overlapping high output humbuckers from a Les Paul. Mighty basslines accompany snare drums, ride and crush cymbals, in a rhythmic wave. All of these with the most fitting stoner vocals. Very good production. Wonderful songwriting. This will be a classic album for this generation, and the ones to come in the future. Great stuff!!!

Philosopher here. I will tell you the reflections that came to me with this album, and try to make it interesting for those who stick. So, thank you for stopping by, fellow traveler. East of Canada, in a café at the top of a mountain, the horizon stretched before my eye...and I pressed play. No drugs involve, just the weirdness of my thoughts. Two thoughts started orbiting around one another in my mind, like a dance that kept increasing. ''What should I do with my life?'' and ''One day, we will shoot for the stars''. There is only two possible path for humankind, or three. Either we kill ouselves with technology or we shoot for the stars. Or...we stagnate but it would surprise me. I tried to visualize a future where we have explored the whole galaxy and conquered many worlds. Another question surfaced: '' Then...what? '' Imagine: All out needs are met with technology; everyone have food, water, shelter, and Iphone 506. Humanity starts to explore beyond our galaxy. We have met different species; went to war or went to bed with them ( such is humans for you ). You're a citizen of a super-city in a planet ressembling the earth....what is your purpose? What is the goal of the common folk? History says: There's explorers. There's scientists and philosophers. But what about the common people? They make children. They perpetuate the species. And...Art. We, the common folks, indulge in art and play with our family and friends. We play. We create. And look for pleasure. Now back in your shoes. Knowing that we WILL shoot for the stars, with your help or not... '' What should you do with your life? '' I was wondering if we should push the technological progress - because I love it - but I realized that...its going to happen, one way or another. The answer to the question is...nothing. Nothing needs to be pushed. Our natural development will get us there. I stopped my recalling short because I ran out of coffee. Also, I would be greatly surprised if anyone read my post. So, if you're reading this, you are a happy surprise. Feel free to tell me your thoughts. And if you wish to tell me how stupid I am, please use good arguments. I'll use them to improve. Thank you. And keep following your callings.

As I listen to this stelar symphony I can feel my soul intertwine with the fiber of spacetime as my mortal body melts away into cosmic dust all the while a sudden sense of anew comes alive: the waters of the universe flow through me and thus I am reborn! Aquarius in Mythology was the one to serve the Gods in mount Olympus their drinks. During the great flood Aquarius had a central role, he was the one unleashed the waters. Metaphorically Aquarius is a symbol of inner spiritual enlightenment and how basically we can be better as people. I believe this is the meaning of this album. Peace!

I knew about this album, and listened it in the past... not sure why it did not grab me back then, but I kept it in my car's playlist. Something happened just before the end of the year of 2021. I was on a long trip, snowy everywhere, this album started and I decided to leave it going... One week later... can't stop listening to it, few times manly tears of joy and revelation went down from my eyes. As someone said in the comments somewhere: The more I listen, the more I feel becoming the man in the song. Or, was I always him? Cheers, the bagpipe sounds, that are also native to my nation are tearing my soul with joy. Best wishes from Bulgaria, it is indeed the age of Aquarius starting...

Villagers Of Ioannina City - Age Of Aquarius lyrics 1. Welcome 0:00 Welcome, to a new age Here comes the ray of Sun Welcome to a new Age fullness of time has come Welcome.. Look at the stars look at the signs this is the start of something new the Age of Aquarius Here comes the Sun glorius one this is the start of new life flooding has begun 2. Age of Aquarius 2:58 Stay close to the river and cry and the river's gonna feel you're the god of rain he's gonna worship you like god and creator for ages And all the fairies of the forest will come the wanna so you to the dance of night this is the Age of Aquarius I'm coming out of river breathing out, I'm finally reborn Rain is falling to the shore dawn is coming, the night is almost gone I came from where the Leo is rising I've travelled through the space for so long A forest nymph is calling for me come along and I will guide where to go Age of aquarius We ran to the mountain We've found an ancient temple with my name Then she bowed and said these words we were waiting here a thousand years for you Now you must do something to bring the light Now you must do something to change the world Age of Aquarius Returning again to mother earth to set the fire and rain I'm turning again the circles of time to bring the Sun back again 3. Part V 11:41 Alone tonight, sitting in the candlelight thinking again, of all my life and the words unsaid you know i'm deeply repent Walking around the streets of my family house remembering again, of all my childhood and the dreams we've shared my childhood came into an end Time flies in circles and rerun so fast, but time is an illusion and it bends now it makes so much sense And all those dreams in daytime searching for the light the saints were calling me in the night they told me everything is alright The voices keep on calling me they're screaming in my head, all this time to find the answers and fare they were always there Thinking and thinking how to find my way I'ma standing on the gate walking and say goodbye see you on the other side I came for recreation travelled through space and time all over the ages the planets aligned I came for the salvation of soul and spirit and mind all over the changes my body revived 4. Dance Of Night 21:29 Awe tonight the birth of new child has come back to life Watch the sky planets are alligned the stars collide Feel the thunder that cosmic thunder here's the water carrier Set the pyre lift your spirit higher dance through the fire Dancing around Dance tonight spring has arrived nature has revived The Earth is high longing for His night the world has thrived Dance together break that mental tether make that one step further All together dance for his arrival ride the holy spiral Dancing around moving in circles till the point that we reach to the edge of the age of Aquarius Singing along along with the angels with all the spirits and animals become one with the universe The Sun has finaly come.. Thats the new beginning open your eyes Embrace the new beginning open your eyes 6. Father Sun 31:54 Look at the horizon the Sun is reaching out feel the air is changing the light has finally come Close your eyes and synchronize with the voices of the past Mother Earth is calling calls for you to act Always calling in for you forever calling never reaching you.. And I...To the Sun I pray... Listen up my child listen to my prayers always look at the Sun and keep reaching out To the Sun I pray... I came from the mountain to wash away the fear drank from the fountain water crystal clear I 'm the holy river that rises from the past came to deliver and spread the golden dust I'm the fire, I'm the rain the air the seed, the dust the golden grain And I... I 'm the Sun and Rain Listen up my child listen to my prayers always look at the Sun and keep reaching out 7. Millennium Blues 40:31 Strange days are coming stand up straight my son All streets are burning stand up straight my son You have to remember life is just a ride The voice that is inside you that should be your guide No fear, stand up straight my son... Can you remember once you had a dream All kids were shining dancing with relief No thurst nor hunger touching the supreme Dreams becoming real as long as you believe No fear, stand up straight my son... We ain't going nowhere we're gonna stand for what is right Always together fighting for freedom to change our lives We are the dreamers we 're going to change the world We are the ember we are the light of the world New day is coming... 8. Cosmic Soul 49:14 Heading to the Northern star almost there I'll be become a fire and rain from the air Diving to this sea of space yearning for eternal grace Bending throught the space and time flying at the speed of light Sailing to an open sea I'm finally free I am rising to the sky like a sparkle in the night You know that I'll be back one day I'll be there The morning of a brand new day meet you there With dreamers of a different world surrounded by eternal love In peace with perfect harmony Thw dawn of age of Gold Sailing to an open sea I'm finally free I am rising to the sky like a sparkle in the night across the sea through the space and time I see the the light I came from another world I've seen the light through darkness Sparkle out of black hole the joy out of sadness I am the cosmic soul the fire of every spirit Trust me when I say these words I've seen another living everything goes in circles.. you have to save your soul free your mind and breakout find a place to call home find your way and breath out feel this spiritual love the cosmic soul inside you come out of black hole ride the spiral, and fly everything goes in circles... 9. For The Innocent 58:17 A song for the innocent carriers of the light for all the deviants creatures of the night for all the immigrants of life all the underdogs here's to the wanderers of mind dreamers of new world i will follow you to the end of the world we will finally come to the age of gold we will stand against all wrong with all the strenght we 've got and if we stand together as one we will overcome i will follow you to the end of the world we will finally come to the age of gold

Man Greece sure has the US beat with rock music right now for sure. This album sounds like one of those absolute classics from the more intelligent forward thinking "Indie" rock bands right around year 2000 or so. Like the album you throw on with a few chill friends over and just let play and enjoy. Good stuff gentleman. Perfect mix of energy, mood, emotion, awesome production while still being raw! @@saragonzalezjuarez9904 According to Aristoteles we are all political beings and we shape things around us with our mentality, choices and actions! So I guess the change of eras include also political changes and music is the best way to express it! Enjoy!!!

There was always a black metal scene, just not as apparent as some years ago.

I never really got into anything Greek in music apart from Rotting Christ. I certainly did not expect my second favorite Hellenic band to play such softer music, but there we have it. this is amazing!

This band and album is fantastic. The lyrics are thoughtful and passionate. The instrumentals are excellent and patient, as if the artists playing them know they could play at a faster tempo and still be good, but that they are in no rush and by taking their time, they work in synchronization to create a masterpiece. Part V feels like a journey through a heart-felt confession and revelation

You guys have so much soul. I haven't listened to an album this much since Steely Dan Royal Scam came out when I was a senior in college. Thank you for the wonderful feelings. Please do more of these master works.
