@@karenneill9109 i remember coming from college once on a Friday night holiday weekend. I crested this hill, about 90 minutues out, and seeing this HUGE wall of cop cars and stadium lights. You'd think they were looking for El Chapo. I thought it was one of those "We had a prison escape, please pop your trunk" roadblocks. Because just past it, was another line of lights in the opposite direction. I get up, roll down my window, show my papers, and ask the question this poor guy's probably heard a hundred times tonight. "Oh no, ma;am. It's just a DUI checkpoint. Where are you coming from?" and then he told me that someone had tried to dodge the roadblock and had forgotten about the fucking canyon of a ditch that was right off of the road, before wishing me a good break. I still remember, as I drove by, they were just lining up a tow truck and this Caddy's butt was sticking 90 degrees straight up in the air. There were cop cars for the next couple of miles pulling over anyone who had turned around and tried to dip, and now that I think about it, in the couple of miles leading up to the hill, an increase in cop cars. It was nearing the end of the month, they must have NEEDED to burn some serious cash.

@@ryanbesco8067 It's not rocket science, no matter where it is. In the US and Canada, traffic lines painted on the roads are color-coded to make it dummy-proof. Yellow is ALWAYS on your LEFT, white is ALWAYS on your RIGHT. If you drive down a street and the yellow is on your right, you're going the wrong way. That says nothing about the over abundance of signage along the sides of the streets and many have directional arrows painted in the lanes. If you still can't figure it out, let someone else drive you.

I never let ANYONE cut me off like that but it sucks when the car behind or infront allow it to happen to avoid confrontation. That being said I've also been apart of the best emergency lane defense squadron I've ever seen. It was like 8-10 of us like minded delinquents that absolutely REFUSED anyone to merge in before the emergency lane ran out. We were all extremely close to one another and drifted to the side to force the cutters into the dirt. It was so glorious watching so many strangers band together for a common cause that it almost made me shed a tear of joy🥲

In my state, only 3% of vehicles are motorcycles, but almost 20% of all crashes involve one. not a fan of those odds. I remember being confused because at first I thought it was a cop sitting in the median, and it wasn’t until I drove by that I realized it was just a stuck idiot. I've had to do that at the local walmart turned into a parking section going the right way and some dude and his GF tried to come out the wrong direction. I literally pulled up close to their car and put mine in park till they moved. But than again I live in FL and that is about normal for the drivers in the state.

I'm a truck driver. We all know that from time to time we need to make WIDE right turns. I was turning onto a two lane road. If you've ever driven trucks you know that a 53 with sleeper isn't making that turn easily. So I needed to use the oncoming lane to complete the turn because I couldn't swing out wide enough to turn back into my lane without wiping out the light pole. So I did but as I was making my turn a lady kept on pulling up to me like there isn't a 80' truck making a turn in front of her. So we went nose to nose. Sat there telling her to back up for at least 3-4 mins, when a cop eating from across the street comes marching out of the diner with napkin still tucked into collar and starts Dad pointing at her and then knife pointing to back up. It felt really good lol
