Peter Cullen’s voice is unmatched. He’s always KARR for me and William Daniels will always be KITT. Though much props to Val Kilmer, he did a good KITT.

@@appleleptiker Hah, it's not just that, but also the circumstances of why KARR's main programming gets even triggered: imagine you run into two seemingly nice guys who invite you to do things with them (if KARR does not know what kidnapping, prison or even an alarm is, I highly doubt he's aware of the morality behind bank robbing) and the next thing you know is there's police and others after you with the order shoot to kill. And after you somehow survive that, you casually drive around minding your own (failing organs) business and guess what. Suddenly the same 'shoot to kill' guys pop up the second they're aware of your existence lol. Real nice going there, FLAG.

@@Ijinzu Not only that, but Devon literally said that he was like a "Gun in the hands of a young child." Or something like that, but yeah, he admitted that he fucked up. Poor KITT didn't even want to do that game of chicken, not only because of Michael, but probably his brother, if you look at the script archives (the draft for that episode will make your heart ache, i cried, I'll admit it) and KARR being betrayed by his own brother would make his trust in anyone turn off, so he manipulated the only two people who were helping him, till he could "get the job done."

Yeah, it actually helps me know what sorta framework the character has. Like in KITT Vs KARR, both the songs over KARRs radio were basically about self preservation and his evolution to a thrill seeker. It truly showed that KARR, just like his brother, knows his mortality. But he wants to test his limits, only on perfect timing, just to try and get more powerful.

I actually love both episodes with KARR,but kitt vs karr is the best of the series for me, not only karr is better but he also have his music very similar to kitt. The only thing missing in kitt vs karr is the interaction between kitt and karr, int trust doesn t rust the two of them talk and that added the feel that they are "brothers". That is great and ithink is really missed in kitt vs karr, because when he return karr is very vicious and angry, but he diesn't exchange any dialogue with kitt,is a real missed opportunities. The yellow was from the saltwater and sand getting into the red LED components. The two-tone black and silver was because KARR requested a paint job to differentiate himself from KITT (from a syndication deleted scene; but from the DVD and the original NBC broadcast).

When ever I see KARR I always feel bad for him. He always gets betrayed by people, because in one scene where he kidnapped the guys girlfriend (forgott their names) he said: “you betrayed me“. Or in other scene where he heard the conversation of the 2 thiefs, where they wanted to trick him, I think he felt betrayed by them even though he helped and protected them. Of course he is cold towards other sometimes. It is just my opinion. But still poor KARR.

i didn't see the show when it debuted on nbc monday September 26 1982 because i wasn't born yet. i wasn't born til may of 1983 so i didn't see the show back then when it was on the air from 1982-1986 so the little i know about knight rider comes from watching the dvds and watching it on youtube. peter cullen and paul free's both did a good job voicing karr but if you ask me paul free's is the better voice for karr. i like his voice better just because when he voiced him he made karr sound more evil. i do hope knight rider 2 gets released on PlayStation 4 or the nintendo switch right now it's only on PlayStation 2 though. i heard once the original knight rider for nintendo sucked and you don't even get out of the car you just stay in the car the whole time. watching the walkthrough for knight rider 2 it's a very good game and i want it. the part at the beginning of the game was unrealistic though because kitt didn't even warn michael about the missiles until ten seconds before impact if it was the tv show kitt's sensors would have detected and warned michael about the missiles like a minute or two minutes ahead of time.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Bit of useless trivia - the engine roaring/revving effects from Trust Doesn't Rust was actually taken from the late 70s movie The Car (great movie if you haven't seen it, but Futurama fans will recognise the car in it). Also, when KARR goes over the cliff at the end of Trust Doesn't Rust, you get a very brief shot from the end of that movie as well.
