I said the same thing,no disrespect to the Duke boys,but Micheal Knight/David Hasselhoff actually performed a number of vehicle stunts like the one seen here. Yeah,they did their own stunts,but any time you saw them in the General Lee,someone else did the car stunts...while they were filmed with projector background shots.

@@franciscoriley3855 Yeah David did some stunt driving sometimes. John Schneider actually did a little bit on the Dukes of Hazzard also. Whenever the star did any stunt driving they made sure to show the star so you could tell because it wasn't all that often

I remember in one of the first episodes there is a scene where KITT does a handbrake turn before going into Semi. You can clearly see a driver checking position of handbrake lever before turn, and also clearly see it was atually Hasselhoff doing the turn. Most of stuntdriving was done by stuntdrivers, but many of those basic tricks and low speed drifts were done by Hasselhoff himself who learned them while doing the series. Then at the end of the series, he got so good at it, he could even do those with KITT's steering 'wheel'.

Knight Rider my absolute all time tv series grew up watching it and never missed an episode. The Pontiac trans am such a beautiful car. I have the jada 1:24 Diecast model of kitt and such an amazing piece to and I have smaller version to of kitt 1:32 scale.
