I gave the best of me to a man for many years, always made myself available to him no matter how much he walked on me, ignored me more then I could take.One day it became to much misery for me to take finding photos of naked girls in motel rooms in the glove box of my truck, phones hidden for other girls to send him messages and songs tell him they loved him and could not wait to see him again here I was again the woman whom got played again, yes I hold onto some of the memories not a days goes by I dont think of him, but I know I had no choice so now this woman has made a life for herself and her 4 kids all the while gave up everything she knew!!! Rebecca Ellison maybe he will someday change. He has been in my life since I was 15 and yes I was his girl then 1996 and again in 2006 I was his lady and now in the end of 2014 I am his woman again. He stands waiting for me to get over a very bad relationship and make room in my heart to love again all the while letting me know he is going no where. I still care for the man I was with even though he treated me and my children poorly. I know almost 20 years later he has now changed into a man. I care for him always have he has always been in my heart and mind I knew I needed to either try again or close that chapter and I couldn't close it I LOVED. HIM THEN AND LOVE HIM STILL!! But I have a trust issue at this point. So I am saying if you get blessed as I have and he comes back into your life give him the chance it could be the best thing to happen to you but stand guard. The writers don't mind getting rich off of selling rights to their songs to super stars. Most people know this but some of the younger music lovers obviously don't. If you hear a song you like find out who wrote it and search for more of their songs. It's a great way to discover lesser known, but talented artist.

The first time I heard this song was about three days after I lost the girl who meant everything to me.. It killed me, I pulled off the side of the road and lost it... The song hits home when you have been there. Made that drive from Athens to south GA many times. Saw a few brokehearted sunsets crossing Sinclair.
