I wanna point out how delightful the couple in the haunted house clip was. They rolled with all of the punches very well, and were ride or die with one another throughout what must have been a terrifying scenario for both of them.

I think just like the extras in Tim and Eric, these are usually Craigslist actors who are given very little instruction/prep. They are essentially just reacting to whatever Nathan feeds them.

The fact it wasn’t scripted is why the show shutdown. It took forever to make the episodes and it’s also why the majority of his business ventures are done towards immigrants and ESL people. Easier to get away with the stuff because of barriers of language.

It’s funny because it’s almost like a dystopian view of the state of altruistic policy in the US. It’s crazy how psychological haunted houses are.. when Nathan was asking the first couple if they were ready I could feel my heart rate actually increase while I was imaging being in their footsteps. That anticipation and not knowing what’s inside. Pretty crazy

I told a potential landlord that I prefered to rent a haunted property. I sort of liked the place, but they couldn't convince me that it was haunted. I ended up going with a place that was equally not haunted. But I didn't believe them. My wife was continually upset with me, and my cats refused to set foot in the place. This is exactly what I was looking for.
