happy 10th anniversary kid icarus uprising!!! :3 pit & palutena are cinnamon rolls and hope we get more to celebrate this charming series like more shorts/an anime or figurines (like a pop up parade line up.:3). that world of light comment makes me want the next super smash bros. game's story is structured like uprising's as i'd love to see the nintendo/3rd party characters interacting with each other like the trailers a la kira vera's work.(especially pit & palutena/viridi being terrified of/luigi being intimidated by bayonetta.)

Born to help protect the most violent parts of nature, the most likely to survive the apocalypse while he goes in search of a greeneer world to draw power from in order to one day return and help revitalize the coming one; -Palutena, daughter of Aphrodite with Odin, before the latter established the Norse pantheon (there's a part in the myth in which he simply wanders the newborn worlds). She represents Aphrodite's love and faith for Ares, manifested by Odin's power. Her birth is a sad one, because adding "God of War" into the mix, this means this is her expelling her faith in her husband from her body. She takes over the leftovers of the classical Pantheon when the Primordial Morpheus helps the Evil Queen cast a proto-Dark Curse that banishes the majority to another dimension (a DC Earth to be more exact); -Pit, Icarus's second life. Palutena pulled a record from those who sought the Sisters of Fate, working to give new lives to those who sought to challenge their original fates, serving her in her army.
