It has to do with the technologies that are Incorporated in the fuel pumping and fuel injection, and engine management. On the American trucks, an electronic management (ECM) of fuel injection, timing, air/fuel ratio, emissions and so on are Incorporated, where the Russian truck that you see here in the video, have everything mechanical, pumping of fuel, timing, fuel injection. In other words, no ECM (Engine Control Module). That's the reason why you will see the Russian trucks cross rivers and get almost submerged without any problems.

В таких регионах дороги надо делать каждый год, разница температуры в течении года 60 - 80 градусов (от -40 до +40) никакая технология не выдержит. Интересно, где столько людей и средств взять? В "Германиях" разница температуры 30/35 градусов, так и ремонтируют каждый год, с плотностью населения в 280 чел на квадратный километр не очень сложно, а попробуй в Якутии где плотность составляет 1/2 человека на кв. километр)))
