Absolutely superb. Loved seeing Boo Windows again. We dived there many years ago from a liveaboard and looking to go back in a few years. Amazing macro of the mantis shrimp and loved the short captures above water of getting in which builds the anticipation to go diving. Great work.

Your video was beautifully captured and edited. Gives a real taste of your trip and the wonderful creatures you saw. Actually one of the best Raja Ampat dive videos I've seen. I'm contemplating on going there to dive and your video really inspires me. But I'm surprised and amazed by how expensive it is to do the liveaboard like you did. Seems like it is around Euros $2000-5000 for one trip!!! And that doesn't even include air fare to travel there from Seattle.

What setup did you use to film the Pygmy seahorse? Amazing! I can barely see them when I dive.

At that time I was using a Sony CX550 camcorder. I'm now using a Panasonic GH5. The seahorses are very tiny! You definitely need a macro lens and diopter.

+Yudi Lemus thank you! I was there just 2 months ago in March. We were told the viz was better than usual, at least while we were in the south. Then it got cloudier as we headed north. It was my first time there and I was blown away by the beauty and the multitudes of diverse marine life. In hindsight, I wish I would have added a trip to Lembeh while I was in the region.

Loving that atomic dive gear, and do you use red filter on this one? colors look amazing....

Thanks. For the macro footage I didn't use a red filter, but instead manually set the white balance with a slate underwater. I did, however, use a red filter on some of the wide angle gopro footage. That helps, but often times adds too much red/purple and needs to be corrected in post.

Khaled, I was in Raja Ampat in March of last year. I've only been there one time and was on the MV Ambai from Wallacea Dive Cruises. So, I don't know much about other boats or dive resorts. Although, I have heard good things about Misool Eco resort. I like the MV Ambai just fine and found it comfortable and the crew knowledgeable. I'll be out with them again in Komodo this summer.
