I know we literally just had Oney Stays, but this really made me miss the early days of Oney Plays with Ding Dong and Julian. While most other channels play the most recent game to get views while the game is still relevant, Ding Dong would be all "so you wanna play this obscure Mario game made in Klik & Play?".

Yeah, I think everyone involved in Oneyplays cares deeply about videogames as an art form, but Ding Dong and Julian moreso than anyone else. They really have an appreciation for stuff regardless of whether the game was well received or if it's good as a whole. That's why they powered through YIIK even though the game is piss to see what worked and they clearly respect it as a creative work. That perspective is kinda unique among let's players who just play the latest stuff or well-known classics.
