Nice to see Zzavid and Knick (if he had more style, he’d spell it like that too, for the channel 😂) enjoying domestic bliss together 🤣 I’m sure they will both get slightly perturbed at that, so just to make sure everyone knows, I AM JOKING. So, anywho, here is what literally no one asked for….my top 5 fav. sci fi/space horror films, in no particular order. Luv ya 🖤😘 1. Under The Skin- that time the extremely sexy Scarlet Johansson made a sci fi horror as an alien man eater, in both the metaphoric and literal sense. Made in the first alien person perspective of Scar Jo on the hunt, there are long sequences of dream like vocal silence sometimes mixed with ominous sound, and sometimes mixed with the sound of natural surroundings (the whole beach and waves sequence is incredible). Existential and nearly experimental, to the extreme, then suddenly and sharply absolutely horrific, one may get impatient and initially bored with this film at first. But, if you stick with it, you’ll find a truly unique film, with incredible performances and mind altering visual sequences, and a masterpiece in the use of sound. With an ending that’s ultimately rather profound, it’s a sci fi story serving as a mediation on what it means to be human. Love this film. 2. Alien- No explanation needed I’m sure. If it is, then you need to ex out of KZbin and go watch the sci fi masterpiece Alien RIGHT NOW…then come back here 😂 3. Event Horizon- Yutaka and I have long sung the praises of this excellent film. With a fantastic premise and stellar performances, you can’t go wrong with this one. 4. Dark City- A sci fi horror love story with much more bloody murder over love scenes (or else I wouldn’t like it 😂), it’s like if The Truman Show took acid and had a bad, bad trip…while watching Star Trek TOS. 😂 5. Moon- writing anything about this may spoil the twist so I’ll just write, it’s a rather exceptional one man show by Sam Rockwell with a twist you never see coming, but what is ultimately a revelation that’s extremely terrifying when contemplating what one would do if that happened to them. This film creeps me THE FCK OUT…AND I LOVEEEEEE IT. Special mention- I love Terminator 1 & 2. 🖤

There have been some great mentions, but for me there is only one option for me...Aliens. Since I was a kid, it has been one of my favorite movies ever. In general, I am not the biggest sci-fan, so as far as trauma-inducing horror, plus those I have seen and enjoyed, I will say: Event Horizon, The Blob ('88), Species, The Thing, and DeepStar Six.

I would definitely choose the 2023 no one will save you film. For a film with hardly any dialogue it truly creeped me the hell out. When the aliens first got in her house I was so shook and terrified

Liam don't worry, I also loved Falcon and Winter Soldier and yes, Sam was way more deserving of the shield than Bucky, tho I love Bucky also. And She-Hulk was a good show too. Not amazing or anything since there were episodes I wasn't huge on but there were more good eps than bad and I had a good time with it. But Nick is also right that Madisynn was the best thing in it cuz she's amazing

It wasn't really because of the all female cast in the Ghostbusters reboot (unless that reason is from the "anti-woke" crowd. It was really down to a bad script plus the comedy was too forced and there were hardly any scary scenes.
