After Darcy and before Marianela, Tamara used to be Royal Ballet’s top billing Principal. Always invited in festivals including the Mariinsky White Nights. I miss her dancing and I will always be a fan of her. She’s the first ballerina I look up to. ❤️

Incredible turns and spins. So graceful and elegant dancing. It still amazes me that these ballerinas can do so much balancing on their toes!! It is an incredible art form, and easy for us to take for granted what they do. But it is an amazing feat. No pun intended!

I had the best time working with this unique Ballerina. Tamara rojo is such a professional, so kind, so helpful. As a ballet dancer I learned so much, being then 18 years old and having that experience it changed and blow mi mind. I love her work so much.

Spain trained Spanish ballerina, has a very unit Spanish style by adding instrument and playing during dancing. She has an outstanding ballet turning technique, able to turn triple turns that I ever saw from most top Russia trained Russian ballerinas.

Miss her at RB, have not caught up with her at English Natl yet. What an amazing turner, and --well--I tend to be a lot more forgiving when the ballerina is pulling off some feat of pure bravura like her coda turns that go 1 2, 3, rinse and repeat when a ballerina is bringing is feat of otherwise perfect technique to us. Really a class act in whatever she does!

Her 4 1/2 spins are great, but I prefer staying on the beat of the music, especially on well known and popular variations
@sibellesibelius50293 жыл бұрын
I totally agree! Music is also a very important part of the whole performance. I think it would be better if they changed the music a little bit (perhaps stop for a little longer), so that she would have more time to prepare for her spins.

Very badly put together. You just cannot cut in half the solo of a pas de deux - but then show a bit more of it later! That is totally nonsense! Tamara has THE most amazing balance and her fouettés are just brilliant. And you’ve ruined some of her solos by cutting/separating them.

Es divina pero siento que por momentos se va mucho de los tiempos musicales. Es un virtud tener tanta capacidad en los giros pero me resulta incómodo que no siga la música.
