Osipova is a special category, her feet, her musical correctness, her airlifts, her being the role all are unique. Very rarely another dancer is more suitable, never better!

I agree. But Nunez is also creamy and buttery in her phrasing. Zahkarova is less impressive to me apart from her amazingly long legs and extension. But it seems almost circus-y and harsh to me. I know that is a minority opinion.

@nicolehourcade I saw her recently and still perfect. She is an all-rounder Her la fille mal gardee is heaven no matter who she dances with. Had a great rapport with carlos acosta and is still partnering much younger members of the royal. I carnt imagine osipova pulling lisa off like her although her talents are different to nunez, every dancer has roles that suit them. But to me she is a class act.

Words cant describe how incredibly fiery Osipova is, she has truly unmatched energy, quickness, sharpness, and athleticism. You just cant look away, she radiates so much enthusiasm and love for what she does. Nunez has the most beautiful grace, the way she holds on to the musicality and uses every single note as an opportunity for expression and emotion, just so mesmerizingly beautiful and is the epitome of theatrical, feminine ballet. And then Zakharova has mindblowing lines and jawdropping strength and flexibility, really pushing the physical boundaries of what ballet can look like. I don't disagree, but having seen Nunez dance Nikiya and Odette/Odile {also Gamzatti, Myrtha, and Juliet} I'm impressed that she continues to impress. And this is just an artistic call. Osipova is certainly the greatest technician alive, although Nunez trails her by a hair's breadth. Nunez has a womanly, queenly grace shared by Sveta; Osipova's style lends more to soubrette roles like Swanhilda, but that too is changing. It would be tragic, but if I could only see one forevermore, it would be Nela. She even does Balanchine's, and her musicality and dramatic abilities really speak to me.

Nunez has arms like an athlete and muscles at his knees. Zakharow's legs and arms like spaghetti , both correctly performs the learned gestures to the music, and that's it.

Nunez and Zakharova are just exquisite and stunning. And calling them not good because of their body?! U are simply stereotyped to think that Natalia is the best, whereas I also know she is not. No one is the best because everyone has their own opinions and preferences, thus, we have no way of knowing that who is right and who is wrong due to us being humans and not perfect. Body shaming is never right at all! And ballerinas will be thin and have some muscle, which is natural and understandable based on their intense training having started at a very young age! Please look at all others with an open mindset, just like u see your favorite. Zakharova is lovely with everything extra to spare...legs, feet, nice arms, but with all that she has, when I watch her she gives me the feeling that she flings the movements rather than place them because she is the master at the helm and can do it. She tends to make me a little nervous as to whether she is going to misstep at some point. Undeniably beautiful though.

in terms of their strengths. Svetlana has very strong and long legs, and a very strong back and center between her pelvis and ribcage but is artistically inferior and doesn’t stay true to a character because you can always feel it’s svetlana behind the costume. I see no difference between her white swan and act 2 giselle because she’s just “sad” there’s no nuances that set them apart. Nela undoubtedly has the best control, there is no question or debate about that, along with top tier expressionism and the ability to portray a character very accurately. She also has the cleanest technique of the three (this is not me saying she’s stronger though, but she’s a much smarter mover). Osipova I think is an example of someone who was meant to dance. She doesn’t use by the book technique which can sometimes throw people off but she still uses her body in a rather effective way that works for her very well on stage. She is by far the strongest of the three and has some of the best stamina i’ve ever seen along with jumps that surpass literally everyone else in the business. Like nela, her musicality is always perfect and she’s a superior actress. I think for osipova though most of her performances are a genuine and spontaneous walk through of emotions that overcome her when she’s on stage. She IS the character dancing on stage and she embodies them in almost as if she’s been entranced. I think that’s what’s so beautifully interesting about the differences between her and Nela. They have such similar skill sets and strengths, but Nela has a mastery over them and her performances are calculated, smart, and flawless. for Natalia she has all of the same skills and is on the same level, but it’s not calculated at all and flows naturally out of her body, and while there are “flaws” most of them are ppl being artistically nit picky about where certain arms go, epaulment, and retire placement but aren’t inherently “wrong”. she just takes artistic freedoms while still being able to stay true to a character and not make them just different versions of herself.

Nuñez has beautiful arms, fluid movements, fantastic control, musicality, she "hangs on" to the music. She doesn't fall off leg extensions. It's all finished securely and calmly.
