Well, to give a few examples: -Because they're dumping commercial vehicles in your residential lot so residents can't park, and the municipality has refused to enforce -Because they've fully blocked your driveway by parking in front of their own garden in the street, leaving you a 30 cm width gap -Because they doorslammed your paintwork while parking and foreign plate means zero chance of getting your damages recovered -Because 10 minutes ago they deliberately steered into a deep bit of water on the road and completely drenched you while you were cycling on a separate cycling lane, making your € 370 phone shortcircuit. I had that done to me and to be honest, I just broke all the windows and mirrors out before putting a deep scratch over all the panelwork, teach them what anti-social behaviour causes. -Because they're sporting a Russian flag and a Z under the window. Quite funny to watch and I assured the Ukrainian refugees staying there that they should keep going, nobody would report it and I'd join in if they hadn't done that much damage already. -Because it's your commercial parking and they threatened to 'knock your teeth out' before wandering off, strange how often accidents happen to bellends -Because it's a drugdealer speeding a 60+ through a pedestrian zone where vehicles are banned, whose response to being asked not to drive there was anti-semitic swearing -Because they're in the gateway of your office but your winch doesn't have a towing hook, you don't know where to hook it and the towing company is more than an hour out, so the winch plan is 'if it sticks, it goes' You can probably guess I've seen a couple vehicles get damaged as a result of their owners acting like complete knobs. 😆

@@ALCLCFVIS Tbh, that really depends on how tall the wall is plus how it's anchored. It's a standard 2 meter tall concrete garden fence, a speeding car will easily break their concrete posts. That's why I went for this solution, if someone hits it, the stone is backed by a couple cubic meters of earth. The math I did at the time suggested that's roughly 12000-14000 kilograms of weight and easily enough to stop even a heavy SUV at 80 kp/h, which they'll never manage in the street here.

@@SVEVelsen 50cm below ground, 1.2m above, continuous concrete (no posts) around twisted bars for a T section (with the "hat" of the T below ground). Might give in with the right speed, but won't make a hole....and most crashes the wall is intact and the vehicle is binned

The repair bills on those teslas are ridiculous. 9 grand to fix scratches, 7 grand for a 1mph bumper to bumper "bump". I don't hate on EV's but that's ridiculous lmao.

an Hyundai ev ran over something on highway few scratches to batter cover what any normal car it be a non issue , car was 1 year old his insurance gave a bill of $61k Canadian the insurance said more than value of car so written it off. ev like they made from glass they throw away toys at best. ive taken my fiesta city car my first car on to forest track over all sorts off road obstacles and odd occasion scrape the underneath not an issue that what bash plates are for do that in ev high chance you destroy car or burn your house down if you damage a cell and goes in to thermal runaway. another bill ive seen infinity hybrid so battery should be smaller so cheaper he got car for $16k usd and had bill for $21k a slight bump. battery very complex and only takes one cell out 1000's to burn car to ground a reason it normally far more easy to write off one or cheaper too than to fix it

“Park” on a Tesla is a mechanical brake on the rear wheels only. That’s why the fronts still turn.
@mikebelcher511110 ай бұрын
Yeah, I learned a long time ago. Anytime you park in the slick. , it's kind of a good idea. To spin your tires before you put it in park and get out. Make yourself a little bit of a divet. I've never had one roll away and i've always done it.. Dont know if its possible in a tesla

If the usa also had number plates in the front, more of these offences could be punished.

Calvin wouldn't have gotten away with agressively driving at him to escape being photographed for a ticket then. If you drive at a cop it escalates way quicker than driving at what's legally just another citizen, like Calvin did here. That's why it's kinda taught in training that if someone does what Calvin did, it's often better to just have something like a keyring ready and drop yourself on their hood: Oops, I fell over when you agressively drove at me and now there's a deep scratch in your hood. Why did you do that sir? Oh it wasn't assault and I don't need to detain you to effect your arrest? You're saying it was an accident sir? No problem, I am suddenly naive and believe you sir, but in civil liability that means the damage is 100% on you since you yourself just admitted there was no intent behind what you did. Have a nice day sir. Hope Calvin learned to be less entitled and less agressive over it.

That's not a defect in Teslas, every rear wheel drive car on the planet also only has a rear parking brake. Sounds like the problem is these people don't have proper winter tires on their cars.

@1920 A lot of cars in Europe are parked intentionally with the handbrake off. This enables cars to be parallel parked closer together. By simply moving the car a bit you can get your car out. It's a level of co-operation that Americans could not comprehend.

No they are not. That is wrong. That only happens in Italy and France and only inside cities. But that's a level of respect for other people's property that you probably won't comprehend.

In my country many tourists are confused why are shopping carts lock together by short chain and to the cart corrals by longer one (first in row). And to release your cart you have to put a coin into it. To get your coin back you have to insert chain fron other cart into it therefore locking it back to the row. Surprize surprize no abandon carts anywhere around = no cart deamon. PS: the coin can be 50 cent or 1 or 2 euro. Or many people get keychain coin for this purpose.

Lol, how? He dealt with an extremely entitled illegal parker who got agressive, and he dealt with him properly. Throwing the ticket out is BS. Better just warn then once, then clamp&tow. That's the only way bellends ever learn. Well, that and scratching up their paintwork as they try to perpetrate assault like the Tesla bellend did here. 😆 Oops, I fell when you drove at me. Why did you do that sir? Oh you totally weren't assaulting me to escape being photographed for a ticket? No problem sir, I believe you immediatly and won't be detaining you to effect your arrest. Such a shame you now have a deep scratch in your paintwork, and it's your fault for the hit which you yourself just stated to be completely accidental.
